Today marks the end of an era at The Golf Veterinary Practice as Gillian hangs up her stethoscope after 34 years of service with us.

After graduating from Glasgow University in 1992, Gillian applied to an advert in The Vet Times to begin her career as a Veterinary Surgeon – a typo in the ad had the name of the practice as “The Gold Veterinary Practice” which is what attracted Gillian to us in the first place!

It’s been such a pleasure working with you, Gillian. We will all miss your neat writing, calm and composed nature and your attention to detail (beautifully written case notes and excellent time keeping!)

Your dedication, wisdom, and positivity have made a lasting impact on everyone around you. Wishing you a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and all the things you love most.
We will all miss you!

Unfortunately over the weekend we've had an entire male grey DSH young adult brought into us found in the Newhame Road area,Montrose,sadly this was a fatal accident. He doesn't have a microchip or collar.

❗URGENT - NEED TO FIND OWNERS ❗
Update - We have had a little cat handed in with us who was found at Newton Road, Carnoustie. The cat is not chipped and is a young entire male tabby who is in need of urgent medical care. If an owner comes forward, please contact us on 01382 690884 as soon as possible.

My husband took the cat to Parkside Vets this morning after contacting SRSPCA. Hopefully the cat was chipped and the owner can be located.

Just found this injured cat on Newton Road at 10:45am. Tried the estate across the road and if anyone knows whose cat this is

As of Monday 2nd February there will be a slight change to our opening hours in Arbroath - there is no change to vet appointments/availability.
Mondays and Wednesdays we will be open 1400-1700 and Fridays (unchanged) 0900-1200 then 1400-1700.

Due to staff sickness our Arbroath practice will have limited hours this afternoon - we will open from 2pm-4pm, this will not impact appointments which are running as normal. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
