Now the lighter evenings have arrived, we have extended our opening hours.

Due to the recent cold snap, the pond on Walk 2 will remain closed until the layer of ice has completely thawed. The field is still open.

While this may be disappointing, the safety of everyone visiting Redhill is our top priority. We cannot take the risk of any of our furry friends running onto the pond, where the ice might crack and cause them to fall through and become trapped underneath.

The weather is expected to improve in the coming days, and we will continuously evaluate the situation to reopen the pond only when it is safe to do so.

As the evenings are drawing in very quickly, please note that from the 26th October our opening hours will reduce to 7am - 5pm each day.

**UPDATE**
We have spoken to open reach and although the road will be closed they will not stop people accessing the fields. Just inform the open reach team that you are heading to Redhill and they will let you through the road block.

We have been informed that the road outside Redhill will be closed on Thursday 19th June between 9.30am and 3.30pm. We are awaiting to hear if they will allow access to the fields during this period and we will update you a.s.a.p.
