*Bookings for 2026*
I have been taking a number of bookings for 2026 so please get in touch if you would like to book your dog in for their holidays next year.
Please check my availability tab, which is updated regularly, before booking your holiday as I also take a few breaks throughout the year and fill up quickly, especially at weekends and during peak months (May-Sept). I do have some availability still this year from Oct-December (not Christmas).
*Rates*
Please note that overnight boarding charges from 1 January 2026 will be £32 for one dog, £60 for two dogs per calendar day (not per 24hrs) and £26 for ad hoc day care (weekdays only).
A £5 charity donation applies on all weekend bookings between 1 and 3 nights (Friday to Monday) which goes to a dog rescue.
Please note I cannot hold dates without a confirmed booking and deposit.
* What Beechnut Boarding offers*
I am a relatively small boarder who is licensed for 6 boarding dogs alongside our 3 rescue, resident dogs. Your dogs receive a lot of individual attention and care, stay in our home and are treated as members of our much loved furry family.
Dogs are introduced carefully, one at a time to our resident dogs and other guests to ensure everyone is comfortable and happy. Repeat boarding guests often make friends with guests or resident dogs here so your dog's holiday can be very social as well as fun. There have even been some holiday romances! 💕
Fit and active dogs are walked twice daily in nearby woods and sometimes secure fields in addition to supervised garden play time, receiving 2hrs+ exercise per day. Older or less active dogs are walked at least once per day and walks are tailored to their needs. Alternative enrichment such as scent games are offered instead of second walks.
There are always soft comfy beds and quieter areas on offer for relaxing and napping as well as our sofas, in front the fire on winter evenings (crates are only used if dogs like using them at home).
*Boarding guests*
We welcome low prey drive, soft mouthed breeds providing they are well socialised with dogs and children and not aggressive to cats. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and male dogs must be neutered. We frequently foster dogs so we welcome nervous/rescue dogs/ dogs who need to stay on the lead and older/disabled dogs with additional needs or medication.
We are not able to board dogs with separation anxiety, reactivity, excessive barking or destructive behaviour and all dogs must be able to sleep downstairs at night either on their own or with another dog for company.
Thank you to all our clients for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you again soon 🐾🐾
