No holding cages or dryer cabinets will be used and I am fully insured A little bit about me....My name is Janine and I have a big passion and love for animals I studied Animal care and nursing at Llysfasi college over 3 years and there I handled a

nd cared for a variety of different animals Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Horses, Dogs,Cats, Rabbits,Guinea pigs, Hedgehogs,Lizards, snakes and many more. I achieved a distinction star in Animal behaviour, Animal Biology, Handling, Husbandry, Feeding, Wildlife species, Animal first Aid, Health and welfare and went on the achieve my Diploma in Animal care then soon after I stayed on for another year to qualify as a Dog Groomer ive now been grooming over 10 years and I love it. I now also offer teeth cleaning using ultra sonic by emmi pet.

In the photos below its sad to see and I am seeing alot of this lately it's not my responsibility to brush your dog it's you the owner! If you choose a breed with a high maintenance coat you should be brushing and combing your dog regular and turning up for regular appointments. I have not got a magic wand so when dogs come in like this I have no option but to shave it down. These dogs take double the time, more products used and a coat like this will ruin and blunt my scissors and blades which will all cost you. It's not fair on the dog and myself. Having a pelted coat can cause stress to your dog, irritated skin,sores and infection and make them miserable. The chance of catching the skin with my clipper is greater due to the tightness of the matts and also hematomas on the ears will form if badly matted. If your dog gets upset being brushed then keeping them in a shorter trim is best if you want your dog in a teddy trim you need to stick to regular appointments between 4 to 8 weeks plus regular grooming at home. Most owners only groom the top of the coat but you need to be grooming from the root of the coat the best way to do this is by line brushing and always use a comb too. Please ask me I will show you what to do I will always help a dog. I groom humanely so if your dog is matted it's coming off it doesn't matter what they look like it's how they feel that's more important to me!
