Another fabulous walk 🐾 arranged by Kelly at the Glas Fryn through the Gwysanney Estate.
Early flurry of snow but then as we climbed and the snow eased off, the views in the snow were stunning!
We’re pretty sure all the mutts enjoyed it and hope the owners did too 🙏
£140 raised ….. all funds go directly to the care of the dogs. Thanks to Holly for collecting the donations 🥰

We checked out the walk yesterday and other than a couple of icy patches it was fine.

We love a good pub walk, and the festive season is the perfect excuse to sneak in an extra ramble — a chance to blow away the cobwebs and enjoy a little ‘R&R’ away from the Christmas crowds.

If you haven’t joined us before, we meet at the pub at around 9:30am, where you’ll be welcomed with a hot tea or coffee and a bacon butty. We’ll set off at 10am for a 5-mile circular walk. Sunday 4th January.

If you’d like to join us, there’s no charge — just give us a heads-up so we can make sure there are enough brekkies for everyone.

We kindly ask that, if you’ve got a bit of loose change, you pop a donation into our tin for our chosen charity, Almost Home Dog Rescue.

First event of 2026 is this Sunday! 🙌🏽

Here at Almost Home Dog Rescue, we would like to wish all our followers and supporters a HUGE Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄🌟🎅🏼

Also, another thank you for your ongoing support throughout the year, not just at Christmas! 🥰🐶

We really couldn’t save dogs lives without your help, it’s that simple. We know that in 2026, we are going need you more than ever. The rescue world is a worrying place at the moment and only set to get worse, but we will do our best, as always. ❤️‍🩹

We have some updates to give you the new year regarding the work we are doing and are going to do at Sawmill - which is the rescues own property and the new HQ. Hundreds of hours of work, behind the scenes has been happening and this is just the start!🙏🏼✨

Our phone will be off from 24.12 for a few days. However, emails will be checked. Our adopters have our personal numbers and everything else is on the website. 🙌🏽

We are having a well earned rest for a few days. Even if we do say so ourselves!😂 Hopefully, feel a little more ready for 2026!🤞🏽
