What a gorgeous boy Fudge is! 🖤

Today Fudge came in for a lovely deshed and tidy-up. Being a rescue boy, we took everything at his own pace, keeping things calm, gentle and positive. 🥰

There was plenty of loose coat to work through, and after a good deshed, brush and tidy, Fudge was feeling much more comfortable and looking absolutely handsome! ✨🐶

It was a pleasure to spend time with this lovely boy and help him feel his best. 💜

These two gorgeous boys came in for their pamper today!

Poor Benji has been struggling with recurring ear infections, so today we clipped the weight from the feathering on his ears. By reducing the amount of hair, it helps improve airflow around the ears, making them easier to keep clean and dry. While it's not a cure for ear infections, it can be a useful part of managing them alongside your vet's advice.

Both boys were absolute stars on the grooming table, with plenty of cuddles, playtime and fuss in between. They left looking handsome, feeling fresh, and ready for more adventures! 🥰

Roxy had a makeover today! 🐾💜
At her owner's request, Roxy went for a much shorter summer clip to help keep her comfortable and easy to maintain. While it's always nice to leave a little more coat when possible, the most important thing is that every groom suits the dog's lifestyle and the owner's wishes.
She was such a good girl and looks absolutely adorable with her fresh new trim. Thank you for trusting me with your gorgeous girl, Roxy! 💕

PIPPA.

Its been a very hot doggy groom day. Pippa a 15 year old rescue taken in and loved by her new family. It was a difficult one as she had lots of knots and matting due to her age and sleeping mostly. We got there with time and patience and i believe it will be the most comfortable short groom for her. I have to say my heart was loving this little girl.

On the flip side ......

Second time groom. A 17 week old maltipoo. Omg I totally adore him and his character. We managed a clip, nails, feet pads the best i could without pushing too much and a break with our cooper for a play. Well done Billy ❤️

Meet handsome Copper the Clumber Spaniel! 🐾❤️
Clumber Spaniels were originally bred to work alongside hunters, using their powerful noses to steadily push through thick cover, flushing game birds before gently retrieving them. Their dense coat protected them while working in woodland and brambles.
Today, Copper enjoyed a pamper rather than a day's work! He had a relaxing bath, blow dry, de-shed, a tidy scissor trim to his feathers, his ears taken back to the leather, and his feet neatly tidied.
The aim wasn't to change his beautiful breed look, but to keep him comfortable, cool, and easy to manage while preserving that classic Clumber Spaniel appearance.
Such a gentle, lovable boy who was an absolute pleasure to groom. Looking very handsome in his before and after photos! 🥰💜

☀️ It's been a busy few weeks here at Happy Tails at Gail's, with lots of lovely dogs coming in for their summer trims to help keep them cool in the warmer weather. 🐶✂️

A big thank you to everyone who's booked in and supported me – it's always a pleasure spending time with your gorgeous pups. ❤️
