Some good advice from RSPCA about keeping your pets safe during the winter months.
We do have some small spare coats for pooches while out on walks with us but if you have a coat for them please leave it for us to use so we can make sure they stay nice and warm while out with us. 🙂
If you don't have a coat for your dog....it's Christmas soon. 🤣🌲

If anyone has any pet food they no longer need please consider passing it on to us.
Wags & Walks (Supporting Dog Safety) 💖🐕‍🦺🦮 are going to set up a food bank for pet food to help families struggling with the cost of living crisis and need donations so have a look and see if there are any tins, pouches, bags of biscuits your pooch has gone off and pass it on to us.

The heatwave is back!
We will be monitoring the temperatures this week and may need to make adjustments to walking times but in the meantime please be mindful of the temperatures and only wall your dog when it is cool enough.
Breeds such as Pugs, Shih Tzus and Bulldogs suffer more than other breeds due to their head shape.
I can assure you they won't die from missing a walk but they could if exposed to such Hugh temperatures.

It is that time of year again! The temperatures are on the rise with extreme temperatures forecast for this coming week.
Please please please don't take your dog out in such weather. The pavements are far too hot for their paws and it doesn't take long for them to get heatstroke.
Certain breeds are going to suffer more such as short nosed breeds, longer haired breeds and also puppies and senior dogs.
Trust me when I say your dog won't die from missing a walk for a couple of days! Heatstroke can be fatal if not treated correctly.
Please be a responsible owner and keep your pooch inside in the cool.
