Supporter spotlight: Murphy’s Doggy Deli

We picked up our order from Murphy’s today and we got some yummy treats too!

🐾 Fun Dog Training for all ages & abilities 🐾

We have a jam packed September & October for you! All held at our privately owned and fenced training centre (SN16 9RJ) where you and your dog can meet all our animals too! 🐓🦆🐐🐏

🏆Bronze Obedience Award - Learn important life skills with your dogs while building your bond and helping your dog with their obedience. Grab your chance to earn one of our popular awards (as pictured) for your hard work! We look at a mixture of fun obedience in a group class for entry level handlers and dogs of all ages.

🐾 Puppy Class - Topics we cover:
* Socialisation & play
* Recall
* Loose lead walking
* Tricks and fun games
* Toy play
* Manners around food & people
* Proprioception, agility and body awareness
* And more!
Pups get some treats on their first lesson and a graduation rosette at the end of the course.
Members will have access to our private members group with discounts, puppy help handouts, first aid info and more.

🐕 Dog Club - A fun and friendly group class where you get to try out all different sports with your dog such as hoopers, scent detection, tricks, tracking and more!

💛 Puppy Socials - An hour of fun and frolics for the youngsters who want to run around and play together without getting lost or running off!

🔍 Have a go Tracking - Join us at The Big Bark where we will be running the tracking ring all weekend! Ever lost your keys and want to teach your dog to find them? Want to learn to play hide and seek with your dog? Then tracking is for you! Great for those dogs who love to sniff! We will then be running regular tracking group classes following this event.

September is a schedule of evening classes and then in October we move to Saturdays 🗓️

We have a new intake of our Bronze Obedience Award open to dogs of all ages. We look at a number of life skills and obedience skills such as manners, stays, retrieves, proofing behaviours and more!

We loved seeing Freya again 🧡💛 we had the pleasure of teaching her for puppy class and tonight we did a top up training session. Freya is so bright she was fantastic. 💡

Sometimes silly is the way forward! 🤣

In our Bronze Award class last night we looked at what communication levels our dogs have to our verbal and body cues. We proofed behaviours and introduced a stop whistle.

Part of our proofing game was seeing whether our dogs would stay in position when we did the YMCA (or similar, yes I’m looking at you Lyn who can’t do the YMCA!)

Often in our training we stick to the same circumstances and environments so when we go somewhere new or do something different our dogs don’t understand so proofing is an excellent way of ensuring understanding.

Plus it makes for giggles and fun in class!

Great sports these guys were while I was chuckling away!

🎓 Graduations 🎓

We have had a wonderful 10 days of graduating dogs who have all worked hard to achieve their rosettes in their different areas! We’ve had everything from puppy class and agility to sniffing and teens!

We have our next lot of classes starting soon including our Bronze Award 🤩
