We are ready to GOOOOO! 🤩

Tonight we begin set up for the .handmade.and.vintage fair for this Saturday and Sunday! Here's one last lil look of one of our creations before everything is packed away safely!

Featuring the Red Flasher butterfly, with our personal favourites, two Cramer's 88's ❤️ displayed in a large vintage case, with a pyritized ammonite, dried roses, florals and calcite crystals 🌹

Where to find our pod in 🦋

We've now been proudly at G Dad's for over half a year and wanted to do a lil walk through of where to find our plot!

You have to pass so many gems to get there, this place is an antiquers dream and there's even a sweet lil tea room at the back to stop off at mid way through your treasure hunting 😍

The Rajah Brooke's Birdwing 🦋

The national butterfly of Malaysia, this stunning specimen can have a wingspan of up to 17cm 😱

They show sexual dimorphism, with the females often being larger and darker than the males, and the males having more striking bright greens (as pictured above) 💚

As with most Birdwing butterflies, these are protected and so international trade and export is very restricted - ensure to check your country's laws if purchasing one of these beauties! For this reason, we are only selling our Birdwings within the UK.

Ello guys! It's time for us to bless you all with our updated fair schedule! We'll have many more to announce closer to Christmas but here are the ones up to the start of November:

🦋 First at the MK Handmade and Vintage autumn fair! Lots of new goodies have been made as per, looking forward to this one as always! 💖

🦋 Then at the Craft & Flea in Bedford the week after! Very excited for this one as we've only had one fair in Bedford before ✨

🦋 Handmade MK fair next at York House, back in Stony Stratford 🥰

🦋 Then again back at MK Handmade and Vintage for their fabulous Christmas fair!

We can't wait to see many of you at our upcoming events with our new products, and of course we're excited to see all of our vendor friends too! 💖

The Great Orange Tip 🦋

Named after the placement of the striking orange colours on its forewings, the Great Orange Tip butterfly can be found throughout South and South East Asia 🌏

It's caterpillar is camouflaged to look like a vine snake to ward off predators and can even spit green fluid as a defence if bothered too much! 🐍 Nature really is so cool 🥰

Showing off a custom dome we did a few months back!

Our lovely customer found some bones on a field walk in Worcester and asked us to theme a dome around the wildlife there 🥰

Filled with cowslip flowers, dried moss, a ladybird, small white butterfly and little beetle 🪲🐞 and of course the partial fox skull and other bones sourced by them! 🦴

Thank you to our lovely customer for placing trust in us to make this piece - it was so fun to do! 💖

Please note, we only work with ethically sourced bones and insects and so we reserve the right to refuse customs if they aren't sourced this way
