🌟 Meet Our Amazing Supporter, Danielle 🌟

This September, Danielle will be running the Berlin Marathon to raise funds for a cause that's close to her heart—Cats Protection. 🐾

Her inspiration? Her beloved cat, Max. 🐱 Max’s story is one of resilience and second chances. Rescued from a cramped living space where he couldn’t explore or play, Max is now thriving in a loving home where he gets to live life to the fullest as the adventurous, curious, and fearless half-Bengal cat he was always meant to be. 🌿🌞

As Danielle shared:
"My cat Max is my inspiration for running the Berlin Marathon for the Cats Protection. My partner and I rescued him from a household where he had lived in a cramped corridor with no room to be his playful self. He’s half-Bengal but full of love. He’s a true adventurer who thrives outdoors and is always curious and fearless. Small proof of how one second chance can change everything and I’d love to promote that through raising money for the Cats Protection."

Max is living proof of how a second chance can change a life, and Danielle wants to give that same opportunity to even more cats in need. 🐾

We’re so proud of Danielle for taking on such an incredible challenge, and we know the Cats Protection will be closer to its mission of rescuing, rehoming, and protecting cats thanks to her efforts.

Tango is a charming and affectionate boy who has experienced life both as a much-loved pet and, for a time, fending for himself. As an FIV+ cat, he will need an indoor-only home to keep him safe and healthy. 🏡

The good news is that he’s adapting wonderfully to this lifestyle and seems more than happy to leave his days on the streets behind him. FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives when protected from exposure to infections. 🐱

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will follow you around, keep you company, and reward your patience with plenty of love, Tango could be the perfect addition to your home. 🥰

One year happy homing update 🥹💜

‘Our friendly giants have come a long way since being adopted, they love fuss, treats and just generally ruling the house. When we first got them they had been through alot, loosing their owner and being placed in multiple different locations. We’ve given them a forever home and they are thriving!’

Cats can get sunburn too, especially cats with white or pale ears and noses.

As the weather gets warmer, it’s important to make sure cats have access to shade, fresh water, and somewhere cool to rest. Cats Protection also recommends keeping cats indoors during the hottest part of the day where possible, and speaking to your vet about suitable cat safe sunscreen for vulnerable areas like ears and noses.

A little extra care in the sunshine can help keep cats safe and comfortable this summer 🐾☀️
