To ensure your dog gets the 5-star attention they deserve, we only take a limited number of dogs each day per groomer. All dogs get 100% of our attention, cuddles,fuss and playtime. Summer garden out back. We take our time to discuss your grooming requirements and listen to our customers. Attention to detail in the styling of your dog. We also except credit & debit cards. Grooming prices do vary from breed to breed and depends on the condition of their coat, how often they are groomed and temperament. We allow 1/12 to 2 hours per groom. We will not rush your dogs groom, they will receive 100% one on one attention

What is the price of the groom? A lot will contribute to the cost of the groom, including your dog’s breed (or mix of breeds), their temperament, the condition of their coat, the time since their last groom, and what you want to have done. Unfortunately, until i see your dog I can’t give you an exact price, as every dog is different, even more so for mix of breeds these days! For more information on prices please give us a call for a friendly chat, or send me a picture of your dog for a guide on price. How long will my dog take to groom? There are many factors to consider! Is your dog elderly? Is your dog a nervous dog? but in general the small to medium sized breeds take 1 - 2 hours for a full groom and larger breeds take anywhere between 2-3 hours. The condition of their coat, the time since they had their last groom. Because we’re working with animals, unexpected delays can occur, but I will always notify my clients with any delays. Am I able to stay during the grooming process? In general the answer is NO because I have found that in the past if makes the dogs more anxious. Your dog will be much calmer when they cannot see you or smell you, they become very fidgety and distracted, and this can cause to many problems, as we need to have control of your dog at all times, due to the sharp equipment used when grooming. However, there are exceptions to this rule and I can accommodate your request so long as you confirm with me first in advance, the reason your are requesting to stay. You will only be allowed to sit in reception and not in the main salon for insurance purposes. What if my dog has fleas, ticks or both? I will ring you immediately. If I cannot reach you, I will proceed to use my flea and tick shampoo on your dog, which is a mild shampoo but does work effectively. Additional fees will apply if either of the parasites are found. Do I need to book an appointment? An appointment must be made in order to have your dog groomed with Snuggles dog grooming. Although I do offer walk in services so please look at our services page, as there are many different services available. Depending on the breed and time of year, you can expect to wait for an appointment anywhere between a few weeks to a couple of months ahead. Saturdays are my busiest days and are full booked months in advance. The sooner you book in the better and I always advise booking at least 2-3 appointments ahead. However, we do occasionally have last minute cancellations, and have a cancellation list available in place.
