I had the pleasure today of photographing two beautiful ladies, and Lady Luna. It was wonderful to capture the relationship between these two, you can really see how much they mean to each other (the world) and easy to see why Lady Luna is utterly adorable!

It was also wonderful getting to shoot in a location that means so much to Francesca, I really hope you love your sneak peak ❤☺

What a wonderful and fun morning getting to photograph these beautiful girls 🥰 from . This shoot meant quite a lot to me, as I have been thinking about putting a 'paws' on Pop Up. Whilst I have loved doing the shoots I have done this year, adding photography into my life with Ollie has been a little challenging.

But getting to photograph Alisons wonderful dogs for the 3rd time over the years was exactly what I needed, so whilst I will be doing less in the coming years I will not be giving up ☺

Enough about me.....

Here is Daphne the Teckel and WOW what a little charecter she is! Full of energy cuteness and opinions just utterly adorable!!

Rose (Ivy's Daughter) showing absolute love and devotion to her Dad (think the first pic is my favourite) such a good girl, 1 million miles an hour.... Or stop, was excellent in both the studio and the few outdoors ones.

Amazing morning getting to photograph this lovely couple, who were reliving their wedding day with two of the most important guests that didn't make the official day! Roxy and Milo 🐾
Roxy 13 years young gorgeous girlie who absolutely nailed the modelling on command part of the shoot
Milo 4 years young and full of true spaniel energy zooming around everywhere thinking it was the best day ever!
Both were absolute super stars, Claire & John looked stunning in their wedding attire!
Realise I always end up mentioning the weather but we were very blessed with an unexpected dry and dramatic window that we made the most of. The original plan had been Easedale Tarn, but with the forecast, a last minute change to Kendal Castle was decided upon, and I will definitely use the location again!!

Really great shoot yesterday and loved getting to meet Mollie, Finn and Ember.

🐾Mollie, an 8-year-old very much still young Springer Spaniel, full of character and energy, going everywhere at a million miles an hour!
🐾Finn a very chilled and affectionate black lab who has recently become more his dad's boy. Who was only meant to come on the shoot to help with handling, but I couldn't help but capture a few of them together ☺️
🐾Ember is also a gorgeous, speedy lady, who is only a year old, incredibly sweet and takes after her mum, who I have had the pleasure of photographing in the past!

It was an absolute privilege to be asked to photograph and be a witness (and accidentally caterer🤣) for Laila and Billy'...

It was an absolute privilege to be asked to photograph and be a witness (and accidentally caterer🤣) for Laila and Billy's wedding yesterday as they had travelled up from Surrey to share the special day with their 3 gorgeous dogs who they love as much as they love each other!

🐾The princess, Daisy, can you guess from the photos who she is?
🐾Snoopy is a gorgeous rescue who is an incredibly sweet girl and protective of the other two, also the girlie who inspired Laila and Billy's love for Canicross!
🐾Hector, a recent rescue and running machine, is a very sensitive, affectionate boy who has fitted perfectly into the family!

The day itself started in torrential rain at Kendal town hall and what I did not know is that it is actually good luck for it to rain on your wedding day as it is harder to untie a wet knot! Then, as we headed into the Lakes for our shoot, the rain eased and we had the right weather for everyone as it was dry but not too hot for all the dogs. Perfect 🥰

My editing process used to involve sitting at my pc until 10 or 11 at night usually with a glass or two of wine, now this is me.
Bouncing away on a yoga ball to keep Ollie asleep for his morning nap whilst I happily work my way through a gallery. It is definitely different, but I couldn't be happier 😁❤

Every client preys for glorious sunshine and I definitely don't complain when we get it, but the part of me that loves a challenge actually loves it when there is a bit of drama! Well, yesterday's shoot definitely delivered. Just look at these!!! How utterly gorgeous are this Mother and daughter pair (yes they may not look it but they are) Beda and Bessy who very much suit the slightly drenched look🤣!!

Beda and Bessy were both amazingly well behaved and really sweet girls with unique personalities, Beda not straying too far especially once the dummy was out and Bessy who is a little more independent wanting her mum to join her in the multiple zoomies, both utterly adore their human!

I also am told quite often before a shoot by a client that they 'do not want to be in the images themselves'. Even when this is the case I will endeavour to set a few shots up with everyone involved, as I think the relationship we have with our dogs is so special and deserves to be captured, I hope I have done this here where that is shown without the need for the standard 'posed' images.

It was great to be back behind the camera again, and what a shoot to come back to!

Here are a just a few of the absolutely gorgeous Leprima Dachshunds I had the pleasure of getting to capture, I think I may have to do another taster for the adutlts, the pups just deserved their own as they are just too cute🥰!!

It was really great to come back to such a lovely client whose beautiful Dachshunds I have had the joy of photographing since I began my photography journey 🥰

I am now back offering photoshoots and have gone out to those on my waiting list first, I do have a few remaining dates still available this summer from August onwards as May-July are now booked up. So you would like a shoot please get in touch.

I'd like to introduce little Oliver, and also thank Clare at Love Photo by Clare Re*****on for taking these wonderful images.

I am most definitely sticking to dog and horse photography, and would happily recommend Clare to anyone looking for a specialist in newborn photography 🥰

Following an emergency C section I am not quite sure when I will be back shooting again, whilst I am recovering well and the most important thing is that Ollie is healthy, my original plan of April was potentially a little optimistic and naive 🤦

For those on the waiting list I will be in touch mid-end March when I have a better idea, otherwise I will do a post on here once I am back and able 🥰 xx

All my life I have had a love and passion for animals (specifically horses and dogs) and photography. I would drive friends and family mad constantly wanting to photo and capture everything.

It is only now I am turning it into a business, with the hope of offering customers the chance to keep a snapshot of the special moments with their loved ones.
