Not the biggest of runs, but nice to do a new stretch in amongst all the repair work this time of year! Remove and replace stock net and 2 barb, where a car decided to hop the hedge and knock it down. Reclaimed telegraph pole strainers and UC4 stakes, mild steel net and HT barb, all materials supplied by customer.

A little bit of what I’ve been getting up to in between the rain and concreting for the next slurry lagoon job. A few short runs of HT8/80/22 with 2 strands of Titan barbed wire on top, all on pressure treated creosote. A triple gateway made up of 16ft gates, all railed off to make stockproof.

We’ll put this one down to character building I think…… a tough couple of weeks in Kent with Mike Keeley Agri Services. Just shy of 700m of R8/80/15 with 2 strands of Titan barbed wire, chunky chestnut structural timber and clipex intermediates. Very steep ground that has turned very wet in the last 2 weeks making it hard to walk in places! Very limited machinery access so a lot of hand work and underground work. A fantastic team effort, thanks so much to & .larse for all your hard work in such difficult conditions. Think we’ve earned a day off tomorrow!

Just over 500m of HT8/80/15 with 2 strands of Titan barbed wire on top. All on pressure treated creosote timber.A fence with lots of turns, following a drainage trench., so lots of underground work in some softer ground. New fencing trailer paying dividends, speeding up the wire!

Nice run of square post and 4 rail along this driveway leading to a cottage, made stock proof with some HT8/80/15 with 2 strands of barbed wire to be added to the field side. All on pressure treated creosote timber. Not a type of fencing I do a lot of, but happy with the way this has turned out.

As I start to wrap things up for Christmas, before some nice family time! I’d like to thank all my customers, suppliers, friends and family that have continued to support SRM Fencing throughout 2025, I have been part of and had some great projects this year, not always the easiest but that’s what makes the job so interesting. I wouldn’t be where I am without the support of everyone close to me, for which I am ever grateful! I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Already looking forward to getting stuck in to 2026!

Working away in Kent for the past couple of weeks, working alongside and Mike Keeley Agri Services . Just over 7000m into this ongoing 12km job. High tensile stock netting with 2 strands of HT barb all on locally sourced chestnut timber. Plenty of alleys for footpaths and hedgerow creation. A real team effort got this fence up quickly and efficiently. Wet conditions but the right team and equipment kept this job moving forward.

🐄💩🐄💩 Another secure slurry lagoon ✅ just over 160m of R11/120/8 with a strand of Titan barb above and below netting. Using the Pro-Strain strainer/strut system from Tornado wire, with posts to match! 14ft, 28ft and 20ft gateways using meshed 6ft gates. All supplied by direct to customer! A safe, secure and long lasting perimeter to this lagoon to keep both people and animals safe!

Fence For Frazer 2025! A brilliant competition for a brilliant cause, which this year was Make a Wish! Thankfully myself and did enough to take the top spot for the second year 🥇 🥇. Tough competition with a fantastic standard of fencing from all competitors, with only 21 points separating the top 4, which is insanely close! A big shout out to the sponsors and volunteers that make this event possible! A great day all round!
