Another hot one today, so walks are cancelled to keep everyone safe.
Heatstroke can happen frighteningly fast, and hot pavements can burn paws in seconds. The safest times for dogs to be out in weather like this are before 8am and after 9pm.
I'd rather have disappointed dogs than poorly dogs. ❤️
Pop-in visits are available instead for toilet breaks, fresh water, feeding, enrichment and plenty of fuss.

🌞🐾 A little update from Poppy's Pet Care 🐾🌞
With temperatures soaring today, I have made the decision not to carry out any dog walks.
As much as I love getting out with your dogs, their safety and wellbeing will always come first. Hot pavements, high temperatures and humidity can quickly become dangerous for our furry friends, increasing the risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
Instead, I am available for pop-in visits where needed. These can include toilet breaks, fresh water, feeding, playtime in the shade, and plenty of fuss and attention in the comfort of your dog's home.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping me put your pets' welfare first. ❤️
