Get ready for an unforgettable Bank Holiday weekend of trail running with your dog at one of the UK's favourite CaniX venues!

📅 **29th, 30th & 31st August**

Whether you're chasing a personal best, introducing a new dog to the sport, or simply looking for an amazing weekend away with like-minded people, **Pembrey has something for everyone.**

🏃 **Race Options**
🐕 **2.5km – Every Day**
Perfect for first-time competitors, young or inexperienced dogs, older dogs, or anyone wanting a shorter adventure together.

🐕 **5km – Saturday & Sunday**
A fantastic distance suitable for runners and dogs of all abilities.

🐕 **10km – Monday Only**
Round off the weekend with a longer challenge through the beautiful forest.

🌲 **Every course is entirely off-road**, winding through the stunning Pembrey Forest on a mix of forest tracks, woodland trails, grassy rides and sandy paths. Fast in places, flowing throughout, and always great fun!

🏕️ **Make a holiday of it!**
Camping is available from **Thursday through to Tuesday**, giving you plenty of time to race, relax and explore everything this incredible area has to offer.

⛺ Camp on the archery field just a short walk from the race start (or drive and park if you prefer).
🚻 Portable toilets are provided for campers.

And when you're not racing...

🌊 Wander along **6 miles of spectacular sandy beach**
⚓ Discover historic shipwrecks along the coastline
🌳 Explore the miles of waymarked trails through Pembrey Forest
🏰 Visit the fascinating historic trails within Pembrey Country Park

🐾 COUCH TO 5K CANICROSS 🐾

Ready to start your canicross journey? Join our six-week DogFit Certified programme, designed to safely introduce you and your dog to running together, whether you're completely new to the sport or looking to build confidence.

📅 Starts Tuesday 8th September
🕖 7:00pm
💷 £80 for all six weekly sessions

Over the six weeks, you'll learn everything from correct equipment and running technique to building fitness, keeping your dog motivated, and progressing safely as a team.

Please note: You'll need your own canicross equipment to take part. If you're unsure what you need or would like advice on the best setup for you and your dog, just send me a message - I'm always happy to help 🥰

For anyone starting from scratch, I highly recommend the DogFit Starter Kit, which includes everything you need to get going with quality, properly fitted equipment.

🎉 TOBY IS 5 🎉

Happiest of birthdays to the nuttiest dog I have ever met 😂

This lad threw me into the deep end with dog ownership, but has turned into a wonderful canicross companion (and a testing agility team mate 🙈).

We'll be grabbing some special birthday snacks later to celebrate ❤️🎉

🐾 COUCH TO 5K CANICROSS CLASS 🐾

Always wanted to try canicross but worried you’re 'too slow', 'not fit enough', or that everyone else will be miles ahead? This class is for YOU 💚

We start simple, build confidence gradually, and always run at the pace of the slowest runner so nobody gets left behind.

Whether you’re completely new to running or just looking for a fun way to get active with your dog, all you need to start is the ability to walk briskly for around 30 minutes 🐕🏃🏻‍♀️

✨ 6-week DogFit Certified course
✨ Starts June 10th
✨ 7pm at Westfield Pill Nature Reserve
✨ Small class size - ONLY 3 SPACES
✨ £80 for the full 6 weeks
✨ Optional extra 2 weeks afterwards if you’d like to continue progressing

You’ll need your own canicross kit to take part, but don’t panic if you’re unsure what you need - just drop me a message and I’ll happily help 💌
