Gorgeous 4 year old Chanmagen

Broken in and trained by us. She was not the easiest to break and train but she is the proof that hard work and perseverance pays off!!! She loves her job and loves to please her rider. Little bull on the polo field!

Desensitising Fiat 500

We recieved a horse form a client who is incredibly skittish and argumentitive. If she didn't agree or was scared she would not be afraid to throw all her toys out the pram!

Desensitising is a really important part of the training as it shows the horses that they don't have to be terrified and over react to everything new or different.

At the begining of the session Fiat would not even go within 10 metres of the wrapper. Slowly but surely with lunging and making her use her brain for work rather than 'ahhh there's something really scary there' she got closer and closer to it when eventually she stepped onto the wrapper.

By the end of the session she was working very happily with it on her back and on the ground. She is still in training and each time it is easier to get her to understand that she doesn't need to be so skittish around new things. She is a really rewarding horse to work with!
