Hi everyone,
With temperatures expected to reach around 23°C during tomorrow’s walk times, I wanted to let you know the measures I’ll be taking to ensure all dogs remain safe, comfortable, and happy while still enjoying their usual outing.
• My van is equipped with air conditioning, and cooling mats will be placed in each crate during transport.
• Walks will take place in a large grassy area with plenty of natural shade from the trees. We will not be walking on hot tarmac or paved surfaces.
• Fresh water will be available throughout the walk, and there is also a shallow stream alongside the field where dogs can cool off if they choose.
• Walks will be calm and relaxed, with no ball games or strenuous exercise.
As always, your dog’s welfare is my top priority. If you would prefer your dog not to participate in the group walk, I am happy to offer a 30-minute home visit either side of their usual walk time. This can include a toilet break, enrichment activities, and plenty of fuss and attention. Please just send me a message if you would like to arrange this.
I know my pack well, and all of the dogs attending are fit, healthy, and accustomed to regular exercise. At the forecast temperature of 23°C, I am confident they can enjoy their walk safely with the precautions in place. They will also have access to a shallow paddling area for some supervised cooling-off and playtime. I’ll do my best to towel-dry any water lovers before bringing them home! 😅
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Thank you,
Pawsome Pals
