Sorry it’s been a manic week catching up - we’ve had no appointments free but what’s annoying is we’ve had at least 5 no shows which we easily could have filled with people asking for slots

Blue-Green Algae Alert: Hemlington Lake Water Deemed Potentially Toxic to People and Pets

Tests carried out by the Environment Agency on the water at Hemlington Lake have shown that blue/green algae levels are above the warning threshold.

The high levels make the water potentially toxic to humans and dogs, especially if it's ingested.

We are advising people to stay out of the water and keep pets well clear.

The algae occurs naturally, and Middlesbrough Council will provide an update when further tests are carried out.

We have been made aware of a severe algae bloom currently affecting Hemlington Lake🦠

⚠️ Do not allow pets to swim, drink, or come near the water.

We are awaiting further updates and guidance from the Environment Agency, and we will share any new information as it becomes available.

I’ve had this question a few times this week so..

Yes we do have a card machine however as everyone knows in everyone’s lives everything is going up in price including charges for having a card machine. Yes we are charged monthly for the privilege of a card machine 🥴 just another bill 🙄

So if you so wish to pay with good old fashioned cash and keep it in circulation and also help keep charges down we will gladly accept it 😁

No pressure however it’s just been asked as some people didn’t realise we have to pay to have a card machine in use

Almost caught up with pics 😅 I do them in my own time at home and believe me it’s not always easy with kids and dogs flying round me haha

Gorgeous dogs, all different breeds, different cuts but all equally lovely 🤩

Be sure to ask us to tweak anything from groom to groom. We do make notes of blades etc so if you want shorter, longer, shorter beards, longer ones anything really - just ask 🥰
