It's the final countdown! 🤩

We cannot wait to welcome you all tomorrow, however, please take a minute to read the following notes before your arrival to ensure we can all enjoy the show safely and everything runs smoothly for all!

🚛Arrivals - Please make sure you do not arrive before the allocated times below. Have you stable booking information ready and the Stable Managers will direct you to your stables (and hook up, if booked) as soon as they can.
Sponsors: 12 Noon
Non-Sponsors: 2pm

🦄Stabling - A £20 deposit will be required for all stabling booked. Stables will be empty on arrival and are required to be emptied on departure. The deposit will be returned on inspection.
Please note: No straw in stables, shavings only!

🐎Fodder - Hay and Shavings can be bought on site.

⛺️Lorry Park - Please be respectful of your neighbours. Clear up any rubbish and park considerately. No BBQs on the ground, only mounted BBQs are allowed.

📩Entries - Please remember to print your own numbers for pre-entered classes.
Late Entries - Please ensure you collect a late entry slip from the office, otherwise you will not be allowed to enter the ring!
Late entries will be taken on the day, CASH ONLY please!

🏆Trophies/Raffle - Please return any trophies or raffle prizes to the office as soon as possible on your arrival.

🛒Trade Stands - We have a wide variety of stands in attendance this year, please make sure you head over to check them out!

🍕Refreshments - The Bar will be open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening for food and the Cafe will be open during the daytime, along with the food stalls in the tradestand area.

🥳Events -

Wednesday Night: Junior Judges Workshop & Competition (6pm)

Thursday Night: Sponsors Meal, followed by the Welcome Party (8:45pm) in the marquee

Friday Night: Daisy Lorry Dog Show (7:25pm) - Entries to be made in the show office between 12-4pm.

Duration: We’re excited to launch our new Photo Competition, Drawing Competition, and Kindness Counts Awards—all running throughout the show!

Photo Competition: Upload your photos to social media as soon as you can for the chance to win a goody bag.

Drawing Competition: All artwork must be handed in by 11 AM on Saturday. Winners will be announced during the evening performance.

Kindness Counts: Remember to always be kind—you never know who’s watching!

🌟 Kindness Counts at CHAPS! 🌟

This year at the CHAPS Championship Show, we’re shining a spotlight on something truly special – kindness 💛

We’ll be rewarding Random Acts of Kindness throughout the show – whether it’s someone helping a fellow competitor, offering words of encouragement, showing patience, or simply spreading good vibes 💬✨

It doesn’t have to be a rider – it could be a groom, mum, dad, sibling, friend, spectator – anyone who goes out of their way to support others or make someone’s day a little better 🫶

👀 Our judges, stewards and CHAPS officials will be keeping an eye out and letting us know when they spot a star of kindness!

🎁 Those selected will be announced on our social media and can collect a special bag of goodies from the office as a thank-you for being awesome.

Let’s celebrate not just the competition, but the compassion that makes this community so special 🐴💕

CHAPS UK Elite Stallion Presentation

This is not in the schedule but will take place at 5:45pm on Thursday 14th August in the Main Championship Arena
Please come along and support 2 CHAPS UK Graded stallions as they are presented with the highest Breeding and Achievement accolade with CHAPS UK.

Elite status is only awarded to animals that have demonstrated outstanding success over a period of time in Showing at National Level through their own and also their Progeny’s Performance.

Elite status gives recognition to this high level of achievement, the quality of the animal and its durability.

Elite Status is granted to the most outstanding coloured animals only after careful consideration and in accordance with strict criteria.

Make sure you are at ringside on Thursday at 5:45pm to support and congratulate both Stallions

Due to the number of entries received for these assessments, we are now starting the Evaluations at 10am (not 10:30 as scheduled)
The Declaration Form will be available in the Show Office from 8am on Thursday 14th so competitors can choose their most appropriate slot.

An unmissable opportunity to showcase the very best of future stars and proven producers in the coloured horse world.

🦄 Broodmares -
Open to CHAPS UK registered coloured mares — either in foal (certificate of covering required) or with foal at foot.

🦄 Foal Futurity -
For foals born in the current year with at least one CHAPS UK registered coloured parent. Foals must be:
✔️ Minimum 3 weeks old on the day
✔️ Sired by a CHAPS UK Graded stallion or a solid-coloured stallion graded with a WBF/DEFRA studbook

🏅 Special Rosettes for:
✨ Best Traditional/Native Foal
✨ Best Non-Native Pony Foal
✨ Best Non-Native Horse Foal

💷 Prize Money
1st – £100 | 2nd – £50 | 3rd – £25

CHAPSUK Championships 2025
Youngstock Evaluations

Declarations for Youngstock Evaluation times will be taken on Show Day & MUST be made in the Show Office before 10am on Show Day.
YE’s will run from 10:30am & there will be a 30minute lunch break for Evaluators at 12noon
3yr old Performance Evaluations entered for SJ or Eventing sections will be expected to loose jump.

All 1st Premium exhibits from the YE classes PLUS all 1st Premium exhibits from current year’s CHAPS Regionals/Spring Festival are eligible to go forward to the Hightopps Stud Youngstock Evaluations Championship in the Thursday Evening Performance.
All eligible exhibits must declare their intention to compete in the Championship in the Show Office before 3pm on Thursday.
