STRAY DOG

A member of the public has found a stray dog in the Pontlottyn area and is currently in with us.
- Terrier type
- dark grey with white-tipped paws and white around her eyes
- female
- no chip
- wearing a pink collar (no ID tag)

A reminder about appointments this week 🔆❗️

‼️ Warm Weather - Please read ‼️

We are encouraging clients and their pets to avoid any unnecessary trips to us during this week, particularly Tuesday, due to the very warm weather. Please also avoid walking your dog to the practice.
If you arrive early to your appointment and you have air conditioning, it is advisable to wait in your car until your appointment time as unfortunately the reception room may be quite warm.

If you need to rearrange your appointment, please give us a call and we will be happy to move it for another day.

As temperatures rise, please remember that heatstroke can be life-threatening for pets — especially flat-faced breeds, older pets and those with underlying health conditions.

To help keep pets safe:
💧 Always provide fresh water
🌳 Walk dogs during cooler parts of the day
🚗 Never leave pets in cars, even for a few minutes
🏠 Ensure they have access to shade and cool areas

If you are concerned your pet may be suffering from heatstroke, please contact us immediately.

Olive came in to us for her spay surgery and brought along her little comfort teddy which she cuddled up to for the wole day 🧸

Your pets can benefit from having an item from home with a familier scent on it such as a toy or their blanket when they come to stay with us for the day. This can help them feel more relaxed and secure. We will always do our best to accomodate, so bring one along next time your pet is in with us!

Today we’re celebrating Tennille, our lovely receptionist! Many of you will probably recognise her, as she’s the friendly face of the practice when you come in.

Today marks 14 years of Tennille working with us, and we truly appreciate all of her hard work, dedication, and cheerful character. Thank you for everything you do, Tennille!
