Winnie the English Bulldog visited Beka at our Meopham Salon for a bath and a much needed deshed and also had our Spa Package added onto his groom as well 🛁 The leave-in conditioner which is included in the Spa Package softens the coat which means the dead hair is looser and falls out when deshedding 🐾🐶

Milo and Biscuit (owned by separate families) visited Eleanor G at our Tonbridge salon for their first introductions to grooming with our Puppy Package 🐶
We offer Puppy Packages from 14 weeks - 6months and we recommend puppies visiting us every 4-5 weeks. This is so they can become accustomed to the grooming routine when in the salon; they can also start to build a bond with the groomers and serves as an early opportunity for socialisation and handling which in turn helps when they visit the vets 🐕

Loki the Labrador showing off his transformation after visiting our Meopham Salon for his regular bath, de-shed and Spa Package 🛁
Labradors have a short, dense double coat which needs regular grooming and brushing to remove the loose undercoat.
Having a thorough wash and applying the leave-in conditioner which is included in the Spa Package before deshedding helps the undercoat to be removed a lot easier and as you can see from the video on the right their coat looks shinier and healthier after 🤩

Penny visited our Meopham Salon recently for a much needed hand-strip 🐾
Hand-stripping a traditional grooming technique typically used on Terriers, however other breeds such as Schnauzers and Wire-Haired Dachshunds along with many others.
It is a technique where we manually plucks dead hair from the roots, rather than cutting it with clippers; this method maintains the coat's natural texture, color, and brightness.

Hugo came to visit Beka at our Meopham Salon today and today is his Birthday! He was such a good boy and to treat him on his special day his pawrents decided to add our Spa Package onto his groom 🛁🫧🤩

Winnie the Bernadoodle visited Beka at our Meopham Salon for her first full groom ✂️🐾 She was so well behaved and at the end showed off her beautiful markings 🤩

Copper the Shetland Sheepdog came and saw Eleanor G at our Sevenoaks Salon for a much needed deshed and tidy trim ✂️
Dogs who are double coated such as Shetland Sheepdogs need regular deshedding as it remove loose hair, prevents mats and tangles, stimulates blood circulation, and promotes a healthier, shinier coat 🪮🐶

🌱GRASS SEED SEASON🌱

These warmer months grass seeds are very common and normally hide in your dogs toes, ears and around their groin area 🐶 They are usually very easy to remove, however if not removed they can cause infection or even travel into their blood stream 😣
Just a reminder to ensure you are checking these areas on your dog after each walk to ensure grass seeds are removed quickly.
