A little bit about me ~ the creator of Porky pig's ( waiting for fb to approve the name change! 🙃) I have a background in care work and was a carer/support worker for 10 years before having my first child. I loved my work and had some incredible experiences supporting people with learning disabilities and helping to transform their lives.

I have had animals around me since the day I was born and there has never been a time in my life when they haven't been there. I grew up in a family that loved horses and dogs and we had many of our own. As an adult I have had lots of pets of my own including dogs, cats & rabbits.

I have been a stay at home mum for the past 15 years and I have 6 children. Raising a family is my greatest achievement and I am fuelled by a need to take care of my children and give them the best possible life. Around 2 years ago I was reading a little story book to my kids about guinea pigs and I had no idea that it was going to change my life! After reading the story I felt that we should get a couple of piggies to keep as pets as they sounded quirky and fun.

We now have many piggies in our herd and they are very much a part of the family. I had no idea that guinea pigs were to become my absolute joy and passion in this life! That's why at the end of last year I decided to set up my own little venture offering guinea pig boarding services. When your piggies come and stay with us they will be waited on paw and foot. Caring for humans for so many years has set me in good stead for proving the best care for our little fury friends.

I am so excited for the year ahead and eager to meet all of the new piggies that come our way. ✨️🥰

We have availability throughout the year to take care of your precious piggies. All of our boarded pets are kept indoors with us for comfort and safety. Our prices are low because taking care of small animals is my passion. 🥰
