How are we in 2026 already! I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported me through 2025!

It was a wonderful year full of enjoyment, from dogs making huge progress in their training, to laughing at the zoomies and sheer fun the dogs have on their walks. It came with some sadness as we said goodbye to a few of our lovely doggy friends, who I miss seeing every day! Hopefully 2026 is as good a year as the last with more laughs, wonderful progress and fun!

Thank you each and every one of you who makes what I do happen with the trust you put in me! Here's to 2026🥂

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you all have a lovely day! ❤️

Today was a big day for miss Maggie. I've worked with Maggie for a wee while now trying to help her with her reactivity, particularly towards people due to her past life. Maggie takes a lot to trust someone new and she doesn't like people touching her but today she was an absolute star ⭐

Maggie's owners are so thrilled with how well Maggie is coming along they asked if I would be able to help her with being groomed by someone who can give her a good brush to remove some of her dead coat. I got in touch with Sally at Fit Paws Tidy Claws and we arranged to meet up this afternoon with Maggie to see how she copes.

Maggie wasn't too impressed to begin with and made it very clear to both of us she wasn't happy with lots of barking. She settled eventually and we moved onto a brush, Maggie decided this was not on her agenda today so decided to try and take a nip at Sally, thankfully she was muzzled and we took a different approach by me holding her head until she was comfortable and she decided this was acceptable and allowed Sally to brush her with me just holding the lead. She behaved so well outside we moved her into the trailer onto the grooming table and she let sally give her a better brush.

We decided to leave it on a good note, and in a few weeks time we will meet up again and give her a good bath and blow dry. For Maggie this was a huge achievement having someone touch her and her accept it without spending the whole time trying to nip.

For some dogs a simple groom by someone else can be a very stressful experience, but finding the right people to do it can make a huge difference to the dogs confidence and experience with different people.

Afternoon everyone, wee update I don't want to give but Kennel Cough is doing the rounds!

I do have a dog with a confirmed case but I am taking all necessary precautions and have been in contact with anyone directly affected but just want to make everyone aware.

Please keep an eye on your dog's for symptoms and keep me updated if anyone thinks their dog has come into contact with the virus. I will message everyone individually but just to make anyone seeing my posts aware it's doing the rounds.

As always, thank you for your continued support, Lucie ❤️
