Welcome to The Spare Seat, a cosy and caring doggy day care based in Bowerhill. We offer a loving, home-from-home environment for your dog while you're at work—because no paw should be left behind!

Our story began with a deep love for dogs and years of fostering elderly rescues, giving them a safe, comfortable retirement in our home. After we sadly said goodbye to our last foster, Cali, our sofa—and our hearts—have had a dog-shaped space ever since. Our own dog, Reggie, has always been happiest with a buddy by his side, and now we're opening our home to yours.

Whether your dog needs playful companionship, a quiet cuddle, or a gentle routine tailored to their needs, we’re here to help. We're fully insured, pet first-aid trained, and committed to treating your pup like one of the family.
