Family Pet Care

Family Pet Care This is my page Family Pet Care. We have a new daycare opened up in Meldreth. We also provide home boarding. My animals have great temperaments.

My family consists of my husband and I our two young boys, our German shepherd X bitch Kai and our Malinois, Meka. Kai dog thinks she is a puppy and she's now roughly 19. She is a rescue (like all my animals I have had). Was in a terrible state but looking at her now you wouldn't no. Meka is also another rescue and is doing fantastic. She still can be a bit wary of people. She's boisterous and ful

l of energy, being only 2. I have always worked with animals and animals have always been in my life. I use to run the family business, which was a quarantine, but my father used to also breed dogs and cats. I have worked in kennels, shelters, vets and my last animal job was a Zoo keeper. I also have an Animal Science degree. I'm fully insured, have a First aid certificate for small animals, and have a fully equipped van for transport. After Covid, I had expanded my business as everyone got dogs and puppies. So with this I have now opened a large daycare in Meldreth. Where we have ball pools, sand pit, paddling pools, soft play and agility. So plenty to keep everyone busy. But we also encourage our down times to, mid morning, lunch time and mid afternoon. We all ahem quiet time, and all dogs have access to dog beds and couches if they wish. One member of staff per 8 dogs, and all staff are first aid trained, and have other animals behaviour/ management qualifications or in the middle of a course. So between myself, and now my staff we have plenty of experience and care for many animals, wether they are dogs for daycare, or cats and other small furries for visits.

W***y arrived at the Sacramento SPCA carrying the physical and emotional scars of a terrible ordeal. After being attacked by other dogs, he lost both of his ear flaps and needed extensive care as he recovered from his injuries. Despite everything he had been through, the sweet Pittie never lost his gentle spirit.

The team at Sacramento SPCA quickly fell in love with him. W***y was affectionate, friendly, and always eager for attention, but there was concern that potential adopters might focus on his appearance before getting the chance to see his personality.

Registered veterinary technician John Holmquist wanted to do something special for him. So he crocheted W***y a pair of adorable floppy ears and attached them to a soft headband, giving him a playful new look that instantly caught people's attention.

The photos of W***y wearing his new ears quickly spread online, and people everywhere fell in love with him. But what truly captured hearts wasn't the crocheted hat, it was the sweet dog underneath.

And W***y's story got the happy ending he deserved. After everything he had endured, he finally found a loving forever home where he could leave his painful past behind and start the life he had always been waiting for.

Sometimes all it takes is a little creativity and a lot of compassion to help the world see what was there all along. ❤️
