REGGIE'S FIRST GROOM!

Have you got a puppy and you aren't sure when to book them for their first groom? The answer is as soon as possible!

Reggie visited us this week for his first ever groom! Here he is enjoying his bath.
He is only a baby but it's important he gets a great, enjoyable introduction to the grooming salon as early as possible.

During his groom we made sure he had lots of breaks and cuddles so he feels safe and build positive associations with his salon visits.

And the result was a fresh, clean happy puppy! 😍

👋 MEET IZI! 👋

Izi plays a big role in the Riber Pets team. She can often be found on the shop floor sharing her pet knowledge when she isn't grooming.

Izi joined us as a Grooming Apprentice and very quickly became part of the Riber Pets family. She's an absolute powerhouse and her specialty is large breeds who need a bit of extra love in the salon. ❤️

💛🐾 MEET LYNDSEY! 🐾💛

Lyndsey is one of our most experienced Dog Groomers at Riber Pets and came to us with a wealth of knowledge.

You can usually find her managing our team at the Duffield salon. Most recently she's been helping shape the next generation of Dog Groomers at

Lyndsey has loads of strings to her bow. She's shown dogs at Crufts, rides horses and loves freaking the team out with ghost stories.

She's a mum of two gorgeous boys which we think comes in handy in a role where lots of patience is needed with anxious pups!

Whilst we love seeing your pooches in store, with the hot weather set to continue, it might be best to leave them at home.

If you must bring them into Matlock over the next few days please let them cool their paws in our paddling pool 💦

We are also more than happy to fill water bottles or refresh cooling coats and bandanas, just ask!
