G&T Racing Heath Barn is a modern Point-to-Point horse training yard which is situated just outside Marton in Warwickshire.

🌟YARD PERSON REQUIRED@ Tom Ellis Racing🌟

We are looking for a reliable person to help out in the yard. No riding required.

All normal yard duties, mucking out, putting horses on and off the walker ect... We have all straw beds. Previous experience is necessary.

We have 70 horses so you must be able to work quickly and efficiently. Sometimes on your own and as a team.

As many days as possible but a Saturday is a requirement. Hours can also be negotiated.

Our normal start time is 6.30am but could suit someone who could start after the school run. We finish at 1 -1.30pm

Wage according to age and experience.

Riders must be competent and able to exercise fit racehorses daily.

Full time you will be expected to work in the yard as well as riding.

Mornings and afternoons available but not just afternoons.

All usual yard duties, mucking out, sweeping/blowing the yard, changing rugs, getting horses on and off the walker ect….

Person must be confident around racehorses and be able to work quickly and efficiently. Sometimes on your own.
You also must be able to think for yourself, be organised and tidy.
Opportunities to go racing if you wish.

Based near Southam, Warwickshire
Accommodation could be arranged.

16.1hh 10yo black gelding looking for a home.

Retired from racing 100% sound. He’s eligible for all ROR classes. Wouldn’t be suitable for a novice or nervous rider.

Only ever been ridden out with others. Not had any sort of retraining at all. Happily pops barrels, telegraph poles ect….
He’s now out in the field having a holiday.

His only run in a British point was at dingley where he ran with credit to finish 5th / 12

A very sound jumper, extremely easy to do in every way. Would ride out alone or in the string.

Perfect schoolmaster. Never fallen or unseated over fences. Still plenty of fun to have out of him. A winner and placed on every run this season. Goes on any ground and course.
