We are a family owned and run business that has been serving the community since 1989 (There are some customers that have been with us all those years!.) Originally started as a farm feeds store in the redundant pig pens we have now developed into a more pet / horse related business. We try to provide a more personal service than the large retail outlets, helping customers chose what suits them &

their animal best. Our offers are often better than some of the big multinationals. The many wholesalers we use have a large range of products so if there is a specific item you require we can usually get it for you within a week. We are big enough to cope but small enough to care. We look forward to being of service to you and your animals.

Hello everyone! 💛

After 39 incredible years at Bakers Farm Feeds in Coat, we’ll be closing our shop doors tomorrow at 1pm.

What an amazing journey it’s been…. Started by Mum when the farm was struggling like so many were back in the 80’s. It's been full of early mornings, busy days, all weathers, lots of laughs and so many wonderful customers who’ve become friends along the way. We’ve had the joy of feeding your pets and animals for nearly four decades, and we’re so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us - especially from those of you who’ve been with us since day one and the generations of families who’ve kept coming back.

You’ve supported us through everything, the busy times, the quiet spells and even COVID (we’ll never forget those days!) and somehow kept smiling through it all, even when we didn’t have what you came in for 😅.

We’d absolutely love to see as many of you as possible before we close, so pop in today or tomorrow to say goodbye, share a story and maybe grab a few offers while you’re here.

It’s not quite the end for us though, just the start of a new chapter, with lots of exciting ventures and adventures ahead (we’re not very good at sitting still for very long!).

We’ll still be offering our hay, straw and compost service, with delivery or pre-arranged collection available (send us a message on Facebook, drop us an email - [email protected] or call us at the farm) so you’re not getting rid of us that easily!

Thank you, truly, for being part of our lives for the past 39 years. It’s meant more than we can say.

Christmas is sneaking up on us! Here are our opening times. As you can see we are open on Monday 23rd and Xmas eve until 4pm. Then open again on Sat 28th until 4pm.After that we are not open again until Monday 6th January Hope you all have a fabulous Xmas break.
