Waves and Woods Dog Walking Service Since 2023 I have been dedicated to providing a professional service to keep your pets happy. Group walks, house visits, solo walks!

Full DBS check, fully insured and 3 year canine first aid trained (latest 2024) with bluebell pet care + first aid.

Early start this morning and Sonny had the brekkie walk at fox rush. Gorgeous and quiet!

Ozzy headed to the nature path, also met the very fashionable and kind Dave from Big dog walks!

The group were; Suki, Mac, Albus, Biscuit and Obi! A great first half of gentle walking, sniffing easy access poo picking.. the run on the beach got a bit much for Suki with everyone having fun; Albus swimming in the sea, Obi checking every blade of seaweed.. Suki came and joined Biscuit and Mac on lead on a sparse and sunny beach!

Murray headed out after a little oil for his dry snout! A steady plod and some off lead time.

Chubby came for a sneaky end of the day walk. Lovely trek through Kirky woods.

Lovely full group this morning; in that heavy shower! A great run round the gare and on the beach. Wilf, Rufus, Nellie and Obi were off lead and checking in often before sniffing all the good spots! Rudi and George stayed on lead still walking at a pace!

48 paws dry later…

Ozzy headed along the nature path, a great 30minutes of on lead passing and some gentle releases!!

Ralph headed to the beach with the last of the rain!!

Sonny closes today with a humid stroll through fox rush woods!

Tuesday! Sonny starts the day with a head over to fox rush woods, it was lovely and quiet in there and some great smells after the rain!

Wilf, Rufus, Eddie and Mac are the group and head to marske beach; a great clear space (my favorite thing about unpredictable weather is people tend to stay off the beach!). Wilf and Rufus headed straight for the cow field of course, for a lovely mud bath.. a sea dip to clean off and it was like nothing had happened 😬

Millie took me over to coatham marsh, we played ball and had a cuddle on the top of the hill!

Murray headed over to the field, some off lead time as well today as the field was empty!

Chubby took the last walk and we did this at Kirkleatham woods, a slow and steady saunter through the trees, sniffing the garlic!

Ozzy we will see you tomorrow and love and thoughts with your family on this tough day! ❤️

Monday starts the week and let’s hope it’s not a sign of what’s to come! That wind 🥶😑

So Albus, Suki, Biscuit, Wilf and Rufus walked over the gare, and Albus figured he’d cut his losses and just become a springer!! Gorgeous group!!

Murray had a trek around to the field and back home for his 30 min solo.

Chubby took the lunch time spot and we headed to kirkleatham woods, the council were cutting the trees so our usual route was cut off, and well no one like backtracking! We took our time and enjoyed the sniffs.

Sonny headed to foxrush woods, so many compliments on how beautiful he is, and they’re not wrong. This boy is very egar to please and a very loving boy!

Ralph also had his walk at kirkleatham woods (yes because I have been avoiding the sea wind). Thank you to the rain for stopping while we walked!

Happy 3rd year in business to us 🎶

It’s been a pleasure and I am as ever super grateful for all who have used the service and who recommend the service, it really does help. In the last 6 months we have seen some regular clients leave due to moving and sickness so for the next 6 month I really need to work hard to keep the business working, as that loss has been quite hard. As I am one of the only dog walkers who offered solos you can imagine that while others are making more money in groups I take another loss as my passion for these solo dogs to get all they deserve and to not make a group work if it doesn’t.

So as a gift from you to waves and woods I ask that you review my service if you have used it, tell your friends about waves and woods and what I do. Share my posts if you yourself do not have a pet maybe your friends do a see my page and choose to use us.

Today has been a glorious day, Ralph started us off at the beach, then Obi, Bella and Dexter headed out for a great group walk, we had a deer run through us and horses to pass on the beach and all three were very impressive with their recall and nonchalance about the whole thing. Murray had the lunch time call. Pip and Ally had a visit!!! And Millie closes the week off!

Look out for Sonny, he’s back tomorrow for 9 days and what a treat to get to walk my geordie friend!

Have a great weekend; I should be in the wynd craft beers later in marske and mines a deya! 🍺

Thursday with waves and woods started with the group! Obi, Albus, Biscuit and Mac. A fast paced stroll around the South Gare and beach. Gorgeous out there.

Ozzy took the 11am slot and have a run in the farmers field.

Murray closes today with a chilled mosey around to the field.

Thank you, tomorrow will be time to celebrate as waves and woods turns 3 as well as 1 year having the van.. I’m very grateful for the path I am on!
