Celebrating national labrador day yesterday treating this gorgeous girlie. Lily comes and sees us for regular visits after her owner noticed some stiffness following walks. She is doing so well that these symptoms have now resolved and she is running round on her walks like she used to. I was sent a picture of lily post her session as it was so exhausting. Well done lily and keep up the good work. 🐾

Slightly late but wishing everyone a very happy new year!

What a blur the last year has been so thank you to everyone we have met along the way!

My 2026 diary is now open to old and new, so please comment or get in touch if you would like to make an appointment.

Looking forward to another year doing something we truly believe in and being surrounded by people who love animals just as much as we do.

“The vet says it’s just arthritis.” 💔
I have heard this statement a lot this past week—and it always makes my heart sink a little.

🐶Arthritis is incredibly common, but it is never “just” anything.
It’s painful. It’s progressive. And it can have a huge impact on an animal's quality of life long before they start showing obvious signs. 🐈

The good news? There is so much we can do.
Physiotherapy plays a huge role in managing arthritis safely, effectively, and compassionately.

✨ How physio helps arthritic pets:
• Reduces pain and stiffness
• Improves mobility and confidence
• Supports weak or compensating muscles
• Helps maintain a healthy weight and joint load
• Slows progression of the condition
• Gives your pet the freedom to enjoy daily life again

Arthritis doesn’t have to mean “slowing down because they’re getting older.”
With the right plan—exercise therapy, manual therapy, home adaptations, and supportive vet care—pets can stay active, comfortable, and happy for longer.

If your vet has mentioned arthritis, or you’ve noticed your pet hesitating on stairs, slowing on walks, struggling to jump, or simply “not being themselves,” physiotherapy could make a world of difference.
