I was proud to represent our professions as Chair of AHPR at this important ministerial meeting, to discuss veterinary legislation. And I will aim to find a horse anywhere I go 😜🐴 🥰

A constructive meeting yesterday between AHPR Chair Alex and Baroness Hayman at Defra on VSA reform.

Allied Veterinary Professionals’ (AVP) expertise was recognised, and there was clear discussion about how professions can be appropriately considered as primary legislation is developed.

AHPR is leading the way for veterinary MSK practitioners, ensuring our specialist skills and regulatory needs are fully represented.
Momentum is building, and our collective voice is being heard.

Can you rely on the public, business owners, and organisations to decide your professional future? What are the implications if new legislation does not reflect your role, or restricts your ability to practise? Can the true value of your profession be recognised without input from those working within it?

Legislation reforms are coming, and they will impact all of those who work with animals. Don’t get left behind for the sake of putting off a survey.
