We will be transporting an abnormal load tomorrow, Sunday 11th May. We will be handing over from Suffolk Police on the A1 northbound and the load will be travelling through Lincolnshire from 2pm.
Main roads being used - A1, A46 (Including roundabouts at Doddington, Skellingthorpe, Carlholme, Riseholme) A158, Wragby Road, Station Road, A158 Bardney Road, Market Place, Louth Road A157, B1203 and Kirmond Road before reaching its final destination at around 6.30pm.
The load will be around 6m-wide and will travel at no more than 25mph.
We don’t allow any movements of abnormal loads during the hours of darkness in Lincolnshire.
Most of our roads are not fully lit and the overall safety of our road users, the abnormal load crew and our officers is paramount.

A very sad day here Bruce has gone to rainbow bridge, he’d been part of the team since 2016 this being his 4th home. He is very loved and will be greatly missed 💔
