For all those using the field please can you not open the front gates and drive in as it's too wet and making the ground boggy. I know it can be difficult to get the dogs out on a lead and walk them in but if you continue to drive in there it will get too muddy. The front gates are not that great either which is why we put the second lot up. We will at some point fence in around the parking area but that takes money and time that at present we don't have.
And of course there's the usual 💩 issue, please pick up after your dogs there's alot not doing so, also put your bags in the bin not next to it, unless of course it's full...

We've opened up last booking time to 8pm or I can do 9pm if you ask as at present its still light, as maybe cooler then and if anyone wants earlier than 7am let me know.

Due to the weather forecast for the week, I have temporarily put a 2 hour cancellation time on. So it if it gets to hot you can cancel or move your booking with only 2 hours notice..

please can we also pick up poo as there is again alot being missed, grass has been cut although when I did a round the other day before I cut the grass all the poo I collected was well within view.. also please put your poo bags in the bin or take them home, dont just chuck them over the fence.. make sure to bring water with you there are bowls available in the field.

Find a problem let us know but if the uncollected poo continues I will have to rethink booking times, so that we can clear before the next person and then I will increase the cost of hire to cover this.. so if you want to keep a cheap exercise field please respect the rules and pick it up or lose the use of it.

Blimey we spent an hour today filling all the holes and by 1pm there are more...😡 jeez people please this is dangerous for the dogs..PLEASE STOP YOUR DOGS DIGGING..
Husband has just gone down now to refill these holes.

It feels like all im doing these days is telling everyone off......

So between 10am yesterday and 2pm today someone has allowed their dogs to dig major holes in the field, if clients don't tell me I can't pinpoint the culprits... some people don't like to come because of the holes, it's hard work on us to keep filling them in, I've even had to buy topsoil to do so. It's dangerous for the dogs running around and It causes issues when we need to cut the grass. If you cannot stop your dogs digging then please don't use our field.
If your dog does dig a hole then at least let us know so we can fill it straight away so nobody gets injured.
And please try not to arrive too early we have alot of reactive dogs using the field at present your arrival 20 minutes before your slot can cause an issue.

Another one for everyone bad habits starting again with arriving too early.. we have a 10 minute gap between leaving and arriving for a reason.. many dogs that use the field are reactive so please if you arrive before your time slot which starts on the hour wait at the top of the field until the previous clients dogs are in the car and they are leaving..

Hi everyone
Unfortunately there are more and more instances of cancelling appointments at short notice.. sometimes 10 or 20 minutes before the start which doesn't give anyone a chance to rebook. So we are going to have to make some changes.
We have always been very lenient with this in the past but this last week alone 10 appointments were cancelled last minute.
So from now on there will be a 6 hour limit if you cancel at short notice then you will still need to pay for your slot. I will be checking as it also seems that the honour system we've had in place is also being abused. You will also only be able to book slots 2 weeks in advance this is to try and stop confusion over what times and days you have booked.

We've kept the price low since the field has opened, but if this continues then we will have to put the prices up to pay for a booking system that takes payment on booking, insurance is increasing due to the banned breeds and I don't wish to ban them from coming, or anyone else for that matter.

If you have any concerns or complaints feel free to let us know I know the field has been a tad waterlogged lately, apologies I can't control the weather, at least its not as bad as it used to get.

So somebody used the field today at either 4 or 5 but hadn't booked, the lady that had booked for 5pm couldn't get in because a lady with a GSD was in the field at 17.05 who shouldn't have been, please double check that you have booked your slot, and that you are out before the next client arrives you should be out by 10 minutes too the hour.
It was very unfair on the lady who had booked for 5pm to not be able to use the slot she had booked and her dogs were going nuts in the car, please be respectful, unfortunately we were not there today to sort the situation out.
AND STILL HAVING THE 💩 ISSUE PLEASE PICK UP YOUR 💩 AND PLEASE STOP YOUR DOGS DIGGING HOLES EVERYWHERE.
I will be placing cameras around the field if it continues and the price for hire may have to increase. So many complaints lately..

OK new gates are up please don't try driving in yet we need to put a base down so you don't get stuck.. for some it maybe a bit narrow, we are still going to fence in the car parking area but of course it decided to rain in the time we had so it slowed us down a bit, plus the fact we're not getting any younger..🙄

I managed to collect a nice half a bucket of 💩
Not quite sure how some of it was missed 😕 grass not even hiding it..
And I've collected a whole stash of balls from little rubber ones to footballs.. thanks for littering the field with your broken crap. In future take it home.

There is a collection of items going on in the hut including someone's jacket if it's all still there after the weekend it's going in the bin.. so if anyone has left anything there to use let me know or it's gone..

Apologies for the rant now I know why some places charge twice what we do......... I shall have to be more on the ball in future.

So new gates have arrived, the field is closed from midday Thursday till 3pm Friday so we can hopefully fit the new gates.. we are going to try and make it a secure double gated system that eventually you should be able to drive your car Into the area and shut gates before letting your dogs out..
So please bare with us while we do this..
