There are still spaces this week and next for bath and brushes, full grooms, deshes and introduction sessions (puppy grooms but also for older dogs and nervous dogs)
Book online or message directly to get booked in. There is wiggle room with some of these times, so if you can only do 12pm for example, still get in touch and I will see what I can wiggle ☺️

These are exciting times here at The Pet Aunty Grooming.

To ensure that every dog has the calmest experience they can, we have teamed up with and have become a Professional Partner. More details on this will be shared in the coming week, including a discount code.

We are also planning to work with to recycle the dog hair in 10 different ways and use their compostable towels to reduce our water waste.
More information on this will also appear later in the week.

In order to do all of this, our prices are changing. New bookings will be affected from Monday 11th May, and existing customers will be affected from Monday 1st June. I challenge spaniel owners to not check these spots on their dogs right now.
How do you know you are overdue a groom when you have a spaniel or spaniel cross?
Feet and ears are the easiest signs. Catch them before they mat and get tight and uncomfortable.

I am a firm believer at grooming at your dog's pace. This gorgeous boy let me trim his nails, paw pads and between his toes last time. But he has had a seed removed since then. So he was a little sensitive and did NOT want me to do any of those things.
So we took a small break before he got himself too worked up. I got down to his level, gave him an ear rub, and we just had a moment.
He still didn't want me to, but we stopped him escalating.

I bought some new fabric recently for new bandannas and bow-ties. I am also looking into the bandanna style that slides on collars.

⭐️😎🐾 Very Important Paws🐾😎⭐️

We had a VIP in the salon today. This handsome man in the new face of , an INCREDIBLE seamstress that I used to work with back in my teaching days.
He is a rescue, and although they were told he doesn't dislike grooming, it is always worth taking it slow.
He was incredible! He wondered around like he owned the place. He didn't like his front legs of any of his feet being styled, but he simply disliked it, rather than being super defensive about it. We have built some trust and the process was as stress free as I could make it.
