Guess Luna noticed that I didn’t connect up the battery properly 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. This is the gate into one of the woodland pens - the mares and foals came off the track for the storm last week and then stayed in for some groundwork training. More updates later!!!

Grace leads the herd up the track - Sirius takes up the rear.

The track promotes movement, foraging and natural grazing habits. They have access to netted hay 100% of the time, all year round but often choose to eat the hedge or the little grass on the track. Hay is deliberately placed at the opposite end to water.

I aspire to give the horses as close to a natural life as possible with my current resources: excluding the possibility of food shortages and including veterinary care of course!
