As the year comes to an end, we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our little grooming salon. In August we celebrated 1 year open, and being fully booked for months has been beyond anything we imagined.
We’re so grateful for every dog we’ve groomed and every client who’s trusted us with their beloved dogs. Your loyalty, kind words, and recommendations mean the world.

We know how much you love seeing your dog looking clean, fluffy, and fabulous after a groom 💕 But here’s something really important: our top priority will always be your dog’s comfort and welfare — not chasing “perfection.”
That means:
✅ If a mat is too close to the skin, we’ll remove it safely rather than tugging and causing pain.
✅ If your dog gets anxious, we’ll take breaks and go at their pace.
✅ If your dog is elderly, nervous, or has special needs, we’ll adapt our groom to make it as stress-free as possible.
Sometimes, that might mean a shorter trim or a different style than you imagined. But your dog will leave happy, comfortable, and wagging their tail. 🐶💖
Because for us, grooming isn’t just about looking good. It’s about feeling good. And a happy, stress-free dog is always the most beautiful groom of all. ✂️🌟

Around 6–12 months, puppy fluff becomes adult coat which means more tangles and easier matting. Correct regular brushing and regular positive trips to the groomers will prevent the dreaded super short clip when it would be unfair on your pup to de-matt their coat. Please contact us if you would like any further information on keeping your pup in the best condition! 🐾

Matts and tangles in their coat - matts can be painful tugging on your dog's skin and if left will keep growing!
Unpleasant Odor or Dirty Coat
If your dog starts to smell or their coat looks greasy, dusty, or dull, it’s a sign they need a wash and brush-out to restore that fresh, healthy shine.
Irritated Eyes or Obstructed Vision
When the fur around your dog’s eyes gets too long, it can block their vision or cause irritation. Trimming around the face keeps them comfortable and safe.

Blue-green algae can be toxic to dogs. ☢️

It may appear as scum or green paint on the surface of ponds or lakes, but even a small amount can cause dogs to become seriously ill. Keep them out of water that looks suspicious, and always check for warning signs when out on walks.
