Hello everyone,
We are Tash and Steph .... T.S Evans Equine.
Mother and daughter who share a passion for horses, we have shared blood sweat and tears over the years, fence fixing, banging in fence post, dragging hay or pushing hay rounds into the fields, getting dragged by horses, this time of the year we are always covered in mud but most of all it has always given us the most joy 😊
Watching the horses thrive, we've had some amazing horses over the years, we love helping the nervous or poor conditioned horses grow into something brilliant.
So now we'd love to share with you, if you're missing being around horses, or maybe want to grow you're confidence around them or maybe you're thinking about wanting one but cant afford/dont have the time, then maybe and hopefully we can help.
Why not join us, put those wellie boots on (you will definitely need them) dont be afraid to get a little dirty (you'll definitely go home caked in mud but hopefully with the best feeling ever!)
Come give a horse a groom and plenty of cuddles.
We will supple tea/coffee and some cakes! πŸ˜‹
What more can you want ..... (apart from some sunshine πŸŒžπŸ˜…)
We are around mornings during the week, we will get a schedule up soon but please feel free to message if your interested to get yourself booked in (and pray for no more rain πŸ™)
Our 1st few weeks we will run a special offer at half price Β£10 an hour.

Sorry for the long post and we really appreciate it if you've managed to get this far πŸ˜…

Please share with your family and friends and we really do hope to see you all soon πŸ₯°

Not really had much to update for awhile as the horses winter field is a slop so not much been going on here, just trying to survive through to warmer and dryer weather ..... thats got to be soon right πŸ™πŸ™

Ponies enjoyed some grass time on the pathway until phoenix as usual has to ruin it by always thinking the grass is greener on the other side and tried to join the neighbours in their garden πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Looking forward to getting the kids back to their lessons and get myself back in the saddle 🌞

What is everyone looking forward too that's making them look forward to better weather? 🌞

Its such a good feeling, they are definitely good for the soul.

Needed that little pick me up, smelling that horsey smell and the feel of their fluffy coat. Great cuddles for sure!

How Perfect ☺️

This girl is amazing,
She was left to gain condition and weight then slowly bringing her into work.

Rosie picked up lunging really well,
Riding wise shes doing really well, she prefers short and sweet as its alot of brain work bless her, its alot for her after years of racing, however shes really enjoying it and seems to enjoy a little outing adventures too.

Shes really gentle with the kids aswell πŸ₯°

Bella.

10hh approx, 2 years old.
We got Bella at 3months old. (Told she was 6months but teeth said different)

She was a bu**er with fencing when we 1st got her 🫣 always getting out and wouldn't be caught.

We had her in her own little pen until we could get her to trust us, it took a little while but we soon couldn't get her to leave us alone πŸ₯°

She absolutely adores the kiddies and wants to be anywhere they are, and is always looking for them.

Bella is terrified of moving cars, the kids have gone around the field on their quads that shes now used to, so hopefully with time she'll be used to cars too.

Shes worn a bridle with a bit and has also worn a roller, obviously with her only being 2 this is little and not that often. Just wanted to get her used to a few bits now to make everything easier as she gets older.

Shes still young and very sassy, but shes such a great little pony πŸ₯°

I can see her as one of these ponies that would happily live in your house 🀣

Great little therapy pony.

Maybe a driving pony once used to moving stuff πŸ€” πŸ˜…

Charm and Jessie ... came to us in 2017

We fostered these two from the RSPCA as we had a spare field and thought why not help out.
Few months later we were adopting them πŸ«£πŸ˜…

Charm was originally called wally but he was too cute for that, so we called him Charm .... tho he was a big wally 🀣

Jessie was absolutely petrified of humans and apparently always needed to be sedated for farrier, teeth and just avoided humans.
She learnt to trust us as we gave her the time and space she needed and showed her all was okay, my hand on a stick helped her see having legs touched was okay, and eventually accepted the farrier and after awhile accepted the dentist.
She learnt alot from watching Charm bond with everyone. We re homed Jessie a year or so later as she needed a more 1 to 1 home as she was still very nervous.

Charm was absolutely adorable, he always had to know what was going on and was always there lol.
He was pickle with fencing tho πŸ«£πŸ˜… always finding a way out!
He had a fantastic loaner who loved him just as much as we did and was a brilliant help to get him handled more and helped so much with his backing.
He was absolutely fantastic with the kiddies and he adored them, wherever they were he was there too.
He looked after them sooo well πŸ₯°
Absolutely loved watching him and the kids growing up together.

Unfortunately we lost him at only 5 years old to laminitis πŸ˜πŸ’” taken way too soon and we will cherish our memories forever

Ralph came to me in 2017

Ralph 15hh cob
Such a handsome boy and he knows it πŸ˜…

I call Ralph the class clown as he has such a strong character and will do anything to cheer you up.

Ralph likes things his way and is quite a sensitive soul.
His education has been stop start as he gets alot of his confidence from his rider so we can bounce off each other as I get my confidence from the horse πŸ˜…πŸ«£
We have done alot and have had some fun but not as much as I hoped, this boy means the world to me tho and we know his little quirks now.

He's an absolute gentle giant when it comes to the kids who have started riding him and doing really well, he really knows he has to look after them.

Phoenix

Phoenix, 13hh 13 year old cob.

Phoenix came to us in 2015, absolute skin and bones, long feet, just been gelded which was infected. He was in a sorry state, hence why I called him Phoenix.... rise from the ashes ❀️

This boy after everything hes been through, put his trust in us pretty much straight away and its been an amazing journey, with all his trust and ours in him, he was so easy to handle and he took everything in his stride.
He's an absolute gentleman with the kids, they've taught eachother, hes been teaching the kids how to ride while the kids have teach him how to be ridden πŸ₯° its been amazing to watch them all together.

Phoenix went out on loan for a few years as I just didn't have the heart to sell him (he was supposed to be a project to bring on and sell, just never happened 🀣)

He's just absolutely brilliant, unfortunately he does have to be clipped all year round as hes just sooo fluffy.

Hes such a character 🀣
