Baskervilles Ltd – cessation of business
Dear customers
After operating the Baskervilles Kennels business for nearly 25 years we have reluctantly taken the decision to close the business with effect from 7 September 2026. We have tried to sell the business as a going concern for the past 5 years, but the change in customer tastes and the rise of both daycare and live-in pet sitting services alongside the material increases in both staff and commodities costs have materially impacted the economics of our business. Given we have many customers who have already booked for the summer period, we will continue to operate as normal until the end of the 2026 school summer holidays before closure. Rest assured that our long standing staff members - Jade, Jordon and Aimee - will continue to offer the same excellent and personal service that you, as customers of Baskervilles, have come to expect and we look forward to welcoming your pets to Baskervilles right up until the closure of the business in September 2026.
It has been a pleasure to own and run Baskervilles Kennels for the past 25 years and we would like to thank you for your support and custom over that period. May we wish you and your furry companions health and happiness for the future!
