(Apologies in advance for the long post, but we wanted to give you all a bit more insight as to what's happening with the shop)

First and foremost, we want to say a huge thankyou to every single one of you who have supported us over the past few years. It has been an absolute pleasure to have had the opportunity to get to know you and your animals ❤️

Now... about the shop. A lot of you have been asking where we're moving to... and, although we are holding a "relocation sale", we are not immediately moving into other premises. As a lot of you are aware, Sandra (mum) broke her elbow quite badly a few months ago and had to have surgery on it. Unfortunately it is not healing as well as the surgeon would have hoped, and so she will be needing more surgery in the next couple of months. We are aware that for our customers, us closing our doors in Marden has been a bit out of the blue, but for us, it has been something we've been contemplating for a little while. My little boy is at preschool close to home in Heathfield, and drop off and pick up times just don't work with our opening hours. On top of that, mum having to have time off for the surgery and recovery will just make it impossible for us to keep the shop open, as (selfishly!) I can't be in 2 places at once!

Our website will still be up and running, so you will still be able to buy from us, just from a distance! We will still be posting on our page, and will let you all know when we are reopening and where we will be, but, unfortunately, it won't be local to marden.

We are full of mixed emotions, but this is not the end... just a new beginning ❤️
