Fond messages have poured in for a much-loved and well-known retired guide dog from Mansfield who “passed away peacefully” following a battle with a throat condition.

HUDSON 💙
It is with a heavy heart that I write this post, sadly this incredible boy crossed over to rainbow bridge, to say it was an absolute honour to walk this handsome special boy is an understatement, Hudson was an incredible guide dog before retiring and becoming a much loved family pet, my heart goes out to all his family and I would just like to say Thank you to Catherine for trusting me with him and giving me the chance of one last walk to say my goodbyes, cuddles, tears and chicken breast and of course that special Hudson smile. 💙
