Another new one! Hygrophilla serpyllum (sometimes called "Marsh Carpet"). Is a low growing creeping foreground plant. With enough light, these are great carpeting plants, a bit like Monte Carlo, just with much bigger leaves which make maintenance and planting easier. Tropica have added a second Sword Aquarium Plant to their 1-2-grow line: Echinodorus grisebachii 'Tropica' is a distinctive sword plant that was discovered in the Tropica nursery in Denmark during the 1980s. This plant is well-suited for the foreground or middle ground of aquariums due to its compact size, which typically ranges from 5 to 10 cm in height.

A new Tropica 1-2-grow plant has just arrived: Spirodela polyrrhiza or Greater Duckweed. The leaves form at around 0.5 to 1cm and can form a dense cover on the water surface. This is Eriocaulon sp. Vietnam and we are quite excited about this little gem.

Eriocaulon sp. "Vietnam" is still quite new in the hobby, however it has already proven to be an easy aquarium plant - in contrast to a number of other Eriocaulon rarities.

Royal Mail Strikes 30th September and 1st October 2022

Royal Mail staff are striking on Friday and Saturday (30th September + 1st October). This will cause delays on Royal Mail deliveries throughout the country. There will be NO parcel collections from businesses and no parcel or letter deliveries on Friday and Saturday. We are expecting delays in processing of post across all mail centres to last at least until Monday or Tuesday. Affected are our Economy, Standard and Livestock delivery options. Courier shipments ARE NOT affected!
