I went to see a beautiful nearly 10 year old white boxer the other day to help him pass peacefully in his own home. Here's a thoughtful from review from his mum:
'Angela came to help our beloved boy Hermann to pass over to the other side. She made what I believe to be one of the worst decisions we have to make for our pets, peaceful and calm. I can’t thank her enough for helping us come to terms with the situation and helping our beautiful boy drift away and be free of anymore pain or suffering. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to do this in the comfort of their own home. Thank you so much.'
Thanks so much Michelle, it was nice to meet you and your husband and hear about Hermann and his life.

Another really thoughtful review from Angie, whose elderly and very loved chocolate labrador, Buddy, I put to sleep at home on saturday morning just outside of Bolsover:
Angela, you are amazing, compassionate, gentle and empathetic. You looked after all of us and most importantly gave Buddy the time, compassion and care we all wanted for him to ensure he fell asleep for the last time in the most peaceful way.
Forever grateful.
To anyone having to make such difficult decisions be assured Angela is the most genuine, caring person to look after you all, particularly your loved family member and pet at such a difficult time. X######

Thank you so much Angie and family, it was lovely to meet you all and hear about Buddy's life.

A lovely review from Kelly, whose elderly Jack Russell cross chihuahua I saw this past week:
Angela was truly amazing with my baby boy Jack and showed a great deal of compassion in such a heartbreaking time. Jack hated going to the vets and we were able to give him a peaceful send off at home with all of his loved ones around him, he was a greatly loved part of the family who has pulled us all through some tough times my heart hurts so bad but this was the perfect way to let my baby go. I would highly recommend Angela to anyone, she honestly made the experience as soft and caring as possible xx
Thanks so much for the review, Kelly, and telling me about Jack and his life. 🐶🐕🐾

I had the pleasure of meeting Beau between Christmas and New Years and helped her pass peacefully in her own home surrounded by her favourite people. She was very loved and I enjoyed hearing about her life and having a great cuddle too. She had a wonderful life and her wonderful parents sent me this beautiful tribute to her. So sweet!

BEREAVEMENT, GRIEF and MOURNING: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Sadly, loss is a universally-experienced life event. Pet loss, however, is something only experienced by those of us who choose to live with or care for an animal.

Bereavement, grief and mourning are all common terms that we use to describe the feelings and behaviours associated with loss, whatever its nature.

People often talk about each as if they’re interchangeable. However, there are some key differences – especially between grief and mourning – that are particularly relevant to bereaved pet carers.

Let’s look at what these terms mean and why the differences matter.
