2 weeks ago today I watched her take her last breath. I still can’t believe what cancer did to my dog. In a matter of weeks. She would have been 9 in September and has been apart of our lives since she was 10 weeks old. I am still beating myself up questioning what more I could have done but in reality there was nothing. Hemangiosarcoma is the most agressive type of cancer a dog can get and it’s exclusively found in dogs. They show very little signs until it’s too late. This type of cancer spreads rapidly and even after surgery and chemo they have months to live. 😭
