1 x deep clean shampoo

1 x shampoo best suited to your dogs coat e.g. for dogs with skin conditions evening primrose oil, for nervous dogs- a relaxing lavender bath, I have a shampoo for all kinds of coats and colors.

1 x conditioner bath
Ears are c

leaned and plucked (if needed) then treated with anti-mite powder

A**l glands emptied on request (additional £5.00)

A full groom completed to your requirements
Nails cut (nail polish also available for those wanted to spoil their pooch! (Additional £3.00)

And a lasting fragrant perfume applied on completion of the groom. Even short haired dogs can benefit from regular bathing to prevent casting and skin odor- includes all of the above apart from full groom, instead they are given a thorough brush out with mount master to reduce shedding. I can also treat your dog to a “creative style” which includes hair coloring, diamante, nail polish, bobbles and bows and cutting shapes etc into the fur. Pictures are available to view and no harm can come to your dog with using these products, please call in or ring for more details and prices. I can also groom cats but please note these do take longer to groom, prices given upon consultation. Please note prices are subject to change if your dog is matted, has fleas or difficult to groom as more time is needed to complete the groom- a consultation will be given on arrival for your appointment and every aspect of the groom will be discussed with you prior to leaving your pet in my care. A hand-stripping service is also available with a further £10.00 added to the price stated below. Dog can also benefit from a bath, fluff dry and grooming with a face feet and hygiene trim in between grooms to prevent the coat becoming matted and to keep a healthy tidy coat this service is cheaper than a full groom price given upon request.

It’s grass seed season! 🐾

These can be quite dangerous stuck in a dog, they can travel deep into their skin and it’s usually an operation to get them out if they get too far,
it’s not necessarily something an owner can see at home, they’re easily spotted when a dog is being groomed though 👀 and we always pull out any we come across
Another reason why regular grooming is important for your dog 🐶

So.. I’m off to Thailand on the 8th of August, originally it was to help out at a rescue centre and help provide medical assistance to poorly dogs, to help rehabilitate and help the street dogs, treat for skin diseases etc
After speaking to the rescue and them discovering I was actually a dog groomer they asked could I possibly take my equipment and groom some strays and centre dogs while I’m over there, naturally- I said I would! 🐾
We’re also going to the local orphanage of an evening to teach the local children English and show them how to care for dogs
While speaking to the rescue, I asked if they were in need of anything over there, they are always in need of slip leads, normal leads and parasitic treatments,
They are a non for profit organisation and rely heavily on volunteers and donations.
So, pretty please do any of my fabulous customers have any old/spare bits laying round I could take over with me? Can drop off at the shop whenever, they would be really grateful 🙏
I’m going to take some spare grooming bits to leave with them and teach some basic grooming to everyone
It really is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m really looking forward to it, those that don’t know, my career with dogs began with the medical side and I just wanted to go back to my roots so to speak and give something back and i couldn’t think of a better way to do so…

Due to the heatwave I’ve made the decision to close up the shop, im heading in in the morning to see how the day goes, usually we’re ok up until 3pm then the sun shines right in, thursday and Friday will be closed, it’s not worth the risk and my duty of care outweighs everything else, I won’t put anyone at risk
Dogs will be much safer waiting a few more days for a haircut and keeping safe and cool at home, I will be in touch with those booked in tomorrow, thanks 🐾

A once in a lifetime opportunity has come up for me and I’m not letting it pass me by, there are a few appointments already booked in and I will be in touch with those people as soon as I’ve worked out dates and sort something out for you, just wanted to give everyone a heads up and get organised (for once) 🤣

There’s some work going on in the shop starting from tomorrow, we will try and keep distribution to a minimum! So appointments next week will be limited as some days I’ll have to close early to get the work done safely with no dogs around, thanks 🐾
