Right guys again, my posts seem to not be reaching! It’s incredibly frustrating! We don’t have the budget to pay for advertising so I need everyone to comment, like, share this post I need to get the algorithm changed again!

❤️✨ MAGIC UPDATE ✨❤️

Just look at her go!

Using her other leg like absolutely nothing has happened! 😭❤️

It’s honestly hard to believe that just a short time ago this little girl was alone on the streets, dragging a useless leg behind her, terrified, injured and fighting to survive.

Now look at her.

And already mastering life as a tripod like a complete professional. 😻

And here’s where the story gets even more incredible…

Magically (no pun intended! 😹), we were connected with Magic’s foster pawrents after their beloved tripod sadly passed away.

Out of all the people, out of all the cats, somehow Magic was mentioned to them.

It honestly feels like fate.

For Magic’s wellbeing, recovery and mental health, we felt it was best for her to move into a foster home while she heals. Whilst she is still under our care and under veterinary supervision, it made perfect sense for her to go somewhere she could receive lots of love, attention and experienced tripod care.

And what better place than a family who already understand exactly what life with a tripod cat is like? ❤️

So Magic has now moved into foster care, where she will stay while she continues her recovery. We will continue managing and funding her veterinary treatment until she is fully signed off by the vets.

Once she has the all-clear… she will then be adopted by her foster family 😻

How amazing is that?

From a terrified kitten struggling to survive on the streets to a future filled with love, comfort and a forever home.

Magic still has a little way to go. She’ll be on crate rest for a couple more weeks and has another veterinary check-up on Wednesday, so please keep everything crossed that her recovery continues to go as well as it has so far. ❤️

She really is an absolute dreamboat.

As much as part of me wishes I could have brought her home myself, I couldn’t be happier knowing she’s gone to a family with so much experience, understanding and love to give.

She’s incredibly special to me.

She’s incredibly special to my team.

And I know she’s become incredibly special to so many of you too.

Thank you all for following her journey, supporting her and helping us save her life.

I think it’s safe to say that Magic is living up to her name.

✨ Look at the difference 12 days can make! ✨

Just a couple of weeks ago, we took in this lovely mum and her four kittens after they had been struggling on the streets. The kittens were unbelievably poorly with cat flu and needed intensive care, medication, good nutrition, and plenty of love.

Fast forward just 12 days, and the transformation has been incredible! ❤️

Each of these little fighters has gained well over 200 grams, they’re eating well, playing, exploring, and finally getting the chance to enjoy being kittens. They’re still a little nervous around humans after their rough start in life, but every day they’re growing in confidence and learning that people can be kind.

One baby has an ulcer in his eye and not quite healed yet but we expect a full recovery just taking a bit longer than his siblings!

As for mum… well, she’s feeling much better too, but she’s still a little bit spicy! 😅 She likes things on her terms and isn’t quite convinced that humans are her favourite thing yet.

We can’t help but wonder if there’s someone out there willing to take on the challenge of winning her over. With patience, understanding, and plenty of time, could she become someone’s special project and eventually their perfect companion?

We’re so proud of how far this little family has come in such a short time. Thank you to everyone who supports our rescue and makes stories like this possible. ❤️🐾

❤️ MAGIC UPDATE ❤️

I honestly don’t even know how to put this into words.

Just look at her.

This tiny little kitten who was alone, terrified, injured and trying to survive on the streets has completely defied everything.

I’ve rescued a lot of cats over the years, but I have never felt so moved by a cat in my life.

The change in her is incredible.

When we first caught her, she was so frightened. She didn’t know who to trust. She’d been through unimaginable trauma and was living every day in survival mode.

Now look at her.

Safe.

Warm.

Fed.

Loved.

And for the first time in what must feel like forever, she can finally relax.

I know some people will say she’s just enjoying the pain medication, and maybe she is a little bit high right now 😅❤️, but there was something in her eyes today that I can’t explain.

It honestly felt like she was saying thank you.

Like she knew she was safe.

Like she knew the fighting was finally over.

Of course, this wasn’t just me. This was a whole team effort. The people who reported her, the volunteers who helped search for her, Debs from Trafford Cat Rescue, the incredible staff at PetMedics, every single person who donated, shared her story and rooted for her.

YOU saved her.

Every single one of you.

A few days ago she was dragging a lifeless leg around the streets, trying to fend off bigger cats and survive.

Today she’s curled up, recovering from surgery, surrounded by people who care about her.

That’s because of all of you.

Thank you will never feel like enough.

Thank you for helping me save Magic.

And if you’re watching this video, try not to cry.

Because I know I did. 😭❤️🐾✨

❤️ MAGIC UPDATE ❤️

Well… I’m about to shock you all!

Magic’s leg WASN’T broken.

After her X-rays and assessment, the vets discovered that she was actually suffering from severe nerve paralysis. She had absolutely no feeling in the leg whatsoever. Sadly, because the damage was so severe and there was no chance of recovery, the decision was made to amputate.

The vets believe this kind of injury is usually caused by significant trauma. Whether she got trapped somewhere, caught her leg, was hit by a car, or suffered some other terrible accident, we’ll probably never know. What we do know is that this poor little girl has been trying to survive on the streets with a completely useless leg and no feeling in it whatsoever.

As heartbreaking as amputation sounds, this is actually the best outcome for Magic. The leg could not be saved and was only making life harder for her.

The good news is that cats do incredibly well as what we call “tripods.” They adapt amazingly and go on to live completely normal, happy, playful lives. ❤️

I can’t tell you how relieved I am that she is finally out of pain. No more dragging a dead leg around. No more struggling to survive on the streets. No more suffering alone.

Now she can finally start her new life.

I also want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person who has donated, shared, commented and supported Magic. The response has been incredible.

So far, you’ve helped us raise an amazing £1,578 towards her treatment bill. That is absolutely wonderful and I’m so grateful.

Unfortunately, Magic’s final bill has come to £2,100.

Combined with Hercules’ emergency treatment earlier this week, our current bill with PetMedics now stands at over £2,600. 💔

We are so close, but we’re not quite there yet.

If anyone can help us with the remaining shortfall, even £1 really does make a difference. Every donation gets us one step closer to covering the cost of saving animals like Magic and Hercules when they need us most.

Most importantly, please keep Magic in your thoughts tonight. She’s had a huge operation and has a road to recovery ahead of her, but she’s already proven just how strong she is.

Just a few days ago she was a terrified little kitten, alone on the streets, fighting to survive. Tonight she’s safe, warm, loved and finally getting the chance she deserves.

I’ll update you all again as soon as she’s home. ❤️🐾
