This is my Rottie Tyson. 11month old when I rescued him. ( all the rescuing ? Still cost me money).
He was NOT house trained.people trained or lead trained when I brought him home.
The fluffy bunny ? Yup another rescue. HARRY. the gummy rabbit. He had his teeth removed by vet before he came to me. Needed special diet. But as you see . He settled in ( as did Tyson)

This was my grandson. With Bella the red tailed boa I rescued. Terrible skin and tics. . I also rescued a male rainbow/red tailed Boa. Same condition. Different place. And yes they actually bred .

This is Sox. (AKA Oxlip Prince).
So sorry I didnt post about his upbringing.
I will try and find FB pics and transfer.
He was a puppy when he came to be my buddy.
After 1 year. His back went. Just playing with his ball. He was paralysed for nearly a year. NO I didnt agree with vet to hsve him put to sleep.
I am so glad as he pulled through. Still not 100% but we can deal with it . He is a happy chap. Loved meeting folk. Judt wants to play with other dogs. But because of his crippled year ? He just gets giddy and over excited ( to be dealt with 😉)

Grrat. I 2asgoing to do an update and put more pics up. Of Tyson my Rottie thats left home to live with my daughters an grandkids.
And little Sox. The frenchie.
It keeps coming up about podt something on this old page/group.
So as soon as I do ??? Yup I put all my pics and vids on my pc last night. Figures huh ? 🤣
I will add them but at another time. Ok.
I havent forgot you sll. But tbh. I havent been needed or called out for years noe. Enjoying my retirement. But still doin magic with critters 💙💖

I am surprised I havent mentioned "clicker training"
That is the fix it for many problems.
AND WORKS FOR ANY ANIMAL ( maybe even child)
HOW IS IT DONE??????
This is so simple ANYONE CAN DO IT. An it dont have to be a puppy either.
I shall explain but you MUST understand and obey the main and almost the only real rule. But follow the other guidlines STRICTLY..
Rule 1 ( the main rule of all) NEVER, NEVER,NEVER use clicker without a really good reward..
Get a good clicker ( or whistle) and to teach the dog ( or animal)??? You get its most favourite treats AND I MEAN THE BEST it loves.
Then click ( or whistlerquick beep) and EVERY TIME the dog comes to clicker? GIVE A TRAT AND MAKE A FUSS,... Keep doing it for a while. Then leave till tomorrow and same thing.
THEN???? Start to go in other rooms ( or away from pet) and when you click and it comes? GO NUTS. Give treats an huge fuss. DONT SPEAK OR CALL DOG AT ALL BTW. . Just click.
Thats it you c acked it. You can now teach it to do other things with clicks and hand signs/wotds.
BUT DONT FORGET THE RULE or it will wear off. But if your out a stroke and a praise is a,reward ( jus not like a treat.
