Today, we bring you the heartbreaking news that Daisy, has made her journey across the rainbow bridge. 💔
It’s difficult to put into words what Daisy meant to us. She wasn’t just one of the very first dogs to join us when we started way back in 2017—she helped shape what we became. She’s been part of our journey from the very beginning. Now, we’re saying goodbye. 😭😭😭
Daisy always brought calm to the chaos. She never needed attention. Never made a fuss. She just came along, week after week—steady, gentle, and present…with the odd bark at strangers and random things here and there. The kind of presence that’s impossible to forget.
Daisy usually kept herself to herself and she always had a rhythm of her own. Once we’d got her to get out of her bed, the start of every walk was slow—lot’s of sniffs, while taking everything in. But the moment she realised we were heading back to the van, something changed. She’d pick up pace, almost out of nowhere, and take the lead, practically running back to the van. It became her signature. And no matter how many times we saw it, it always made us smile.
We’ve walked with hundreds of dogs over the years. But only a few become part of the fabric. Daisy was one of them. Our OG girl.
To Marcia—thank you for putting your trust in us all those years ago, and thank you for letting us share so many years with Daisy. 🫶
To Daisy—thank you for the impact you made, and the memories you’ve left behind. We’ll miss you so much. We’ll never forget you. You’ll forever live on in our hearts and memories. 🐾💔
