I am back and up to speed from being poorly.

I have some exciting news to share.

A very good friend of mine is picking up a puppy in the next few weeks and has asked me to assist with training him.

Today's Training session is the penultimate of the gentle giants training.

Today we focused on his recall as with a German shepherd they can be quite stubborn if they don't want to do something. 😂

I met my client in the park and already he wasn't wanting to come say Hi.

When we clipped the long lead on eventually he was being well behaved.

Next week is his final session of training who thinks he will pass and graduate?

2nd session with my new clients.

He isn't pulling which is amazing. Today we focused on getting and maintaining his attention with a few commands.

I didn't get any pictures or videos unfortunately but as always I encourage my clients to post away. On here.

I'm super happy with how he is doing so far.

I am pleased to announce he isn't dragging his owners down the street which is brilliant progress well done.
Oddly a few members of the public asked if I was their son! 😂 Sorry about that hahaha.

✨ Top Tip Tuesday! ✨

Ever wonder why your dog is great at "sit" in the living room but forgets everything at the park? It's all about generalization!

Your dog doesn't automatically understand that "sit" means the same thing everywhere. You have to practice in different environments with varying levels of distractions.

This week's challenge: Practice your dog's best command in three new spots! 1️⃣ Your garden 2️⃣ A quiet street 3️⃣ The entrance to a park

So sorry for being radio silent.

We unfortunately lost one of our dogs on Sunday to cancer 😭.

I'd like to take a moment to recommend the excellent service we have had from Beloved Pets Cremation Services.

I genuinely wasn't expecting all the help and support from the amazing team.

Just got her back today and now I'm a blubbering wreck again 😂.
