FOUND CAT - Burcot Rd M11
Black & white domestic longhair
Unneutered male, no microchip
Estimated 1-2 years old

This lovely boy has been brought in by a member of the public today for treatment of a wound. His finder is currently caring for him and will arrange a forever home for him if no owner comes forward. We have put a paper collar on him with the finder's details in case he goes back to his home but he has been visiting various homes in the area for several months and is believed to be a true stray.

If he is your cat, please contact us on 0161 464 5545 or [email protected] so we can reunite you and help you get him booked in for neutering and microchipping.

We loved this so much we just had to share! Beautiful Bazyl came in to see us yesterday for immunotherapy complete with his own china bowl, crystal glass and a lovely handwritten note from his purr-arents. We are always happy to make our patients as happy and comfortable as we can during their stay. Favourite toys, blankets or indeed anything to keep them in the manner to which they have become accustomed 🀍

What a fantastic bank holiday weekend that was hey? We hope all cats and hoomans enjoyed themselves and managed to stay cool and hydrated! Seeing as we've shared lots of photos of the team lately, it seems only fair to share some photos of our very spoilt furry friends and their escapades over the weekend...

Baby Moon helped out with some gardening by potting himself.
Luna had an indoor spa day under her cooling towel.
Marcel couldn't hear the sea in the shell, so listened to the flowers instead.
Ost sat patiently all weekend in the greenhouse, as he was ripe for picking.
Leo just vibed every sunset.
Harold repeatedly expressed his dismay at the floral display.
Davina channelled her inner David Attenborough.
Petra went to half term summer camp.
Ponni pondered the meaning of life.
Diego relaxed on his catio.

Happy Hump Day! Here's hoping for another corker this weekend :)

Is your cat neutered? If not, we have a handful of spaces available to get them done this week - call 0161 464 5545 to book.

Here's staff pet Marty enjoying the flowers over the bank holiday weekend. He's neutered, chipped and vaccinated so he can enjoy the outdoors with confidence that he's at lower risk of disease and injury 😺

It's feel good Friday and we all love a good rags to riches story, don't we?

This super handsome chap had been hanging around the garden of one of our lovely clients for quite some time. After scanning for a chip and then paper collaring him to no avail, this beautiful boy found his purrever home with what was his temporary caregiver.

He has now traded in his garden pew for a throne fit for a king, we give you, the many sleeping positions of Jude.

May is Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month, celebrating what it means to be a veterinary nurse and to raise awareness of the significant contributions made by veterinary nurses to animal health and welfare.

It requires a huge amount of dedication, passion and empathy to train and practise as a veterinary nurse, however the crucial work both in and out of veterinary practice often goes unseen by the public.

Here are just a handful of the many ways in which they help.

Laboratory Work: Analysing diagnostic tests (like blood and urine) and identifying abnormal results to flag for the veterinarian.

Radiography (X-rays): Safely operating equipment, precisely positioning animals, and spotting obvious problems in imaging.

Emergency & Critical Care: Being the first to assess an injured animal and initiating vital life-saving treatment before the vet is available.

Animal Behaviour & Welfare: Helping animals overcome behavioural issues and offering advice on training, socialisation, and weight.

So join us in giving a massive shout out and thank you to our fabulous nurses who underpin the skilled care provided by Manchester Cat Clinic, every single day.

We appreciate you Amy G, Becky, Sarah K, Amber, Charlotte, Katie, Amy H and Sarah M.
