Running a business on your own can be exhausting.
Over the last year especially, Iโve been trying to juggle everything at The Bark Hut myself while also dealing with depression, stress and the pressure that comes with carrying a business alone. Some days you just keep going because you have no choice.
People see the stocked shelves, the happy dogs and the social media posts, but behind that is one person trying to manage the shop, customers, suppliers, stock, paperwork, ideas, problems and everything else that comes with running a small business.
The passion for The Bark Hut is still completely there, and I genuinely believe it could become something really special, but Iโve realised I canโt keep trying to do absolutely everything alone forever.
So this is me being honest and asking for help.
Iโd really like to find the right person, or people, who might want to get involved and help grow the business with me. Whether thatโs bringing ideas, helping with content and events, brainstorming, or simply sharing the same passion for dogs and small businesses.
Iโm even open to offering a percentage of the business to the right person if someone genuinely believes in what Iโm trying to build and wants to grow it together.
This isnโt me giving up on the business.
Itโs me trying to give it the best chance to grow into what I know it can be.
